56th moon [video]
You'd think that after a year and seven months, the locals would be unable to surprise me anymore.
[This strange introduction comes with the image of an innocent-looking house. An innocent-looking house that has a pond and fences blocking its door, in fact. Rosie the Clefable is standing in front of it; every so often, she pokes the water's surface with curiosity.]
Necessitating either Surf or Fly to leave your house cannot possibly be practical. What if your Water- and Flying-types are ill? What if you have guests? What if your children wish to go play with friends? I doubt it's even sufficient to stop... thieves...
[He trails off as he stares in horror at the pond. Even Rosie stops touching the water and joins him in staring. Of course, that could be because of the slimy purple limb that just grabbed her arm.]
...Having Grimers in your water cannot be healthy. Goodness.
[He turns the Gear off, now. His little girl needs rescuing.]

[He's clinging to Rosie so very much.]
I'll buy lemonade instead of water for the rest of my stay. It seems safer, now.

And it makes me wonder how that happened.

[Or to traumatize all the local children.]

...Maybe because the water's polluted in the first place? I mean, they're literal moving toxic sludge.

I'm starting to wonder if monsters from our worlds somehow came here, too.
[Because that Grimer is reminding her of a Flan. A very mutated one, but...good grief if there are Flans here...what ELSE?]
[A Flan without tasty pudding is no good Flan at all.]
Probably the best idea. That thing looked toxic.

[... Yeah okay, his tingling thief senses are no match for the feeling of disturbance he experiences at the sight of Grimer's hand sliding out of the pond, so he'll just switch the topic to it.]
... Why the hell would anyone want to keep THAT?
...A great and deep love for Poison-types, and a wish to offer them the best possible environment?
