Necessitating either Surf or Fly to leave your house cannot possibly be practical. What if your Water- and Flying-types are ill? What if you have guests? What if your children wish to go play with friends? I doubt it's even sufficient to stop... thieves...

[He trails off as he stares in horror at the pond. Even Rosie stops touching the water and joins him in staring. Of course, that could be because of the slimy purple limb that just grabbed her arm.]

...Having Grimers in your water cannot be healthy. Goodness.

[He turns the Gear off, now. His little girl needs rescuing.]

They could be a subspecies of Flan, perhaps. They do look like Purple Bavarois, though without the weakness to fire. ...However, I'd not eat any pudding found on these corpses.
