[Today's quote should sound quite familiar to anyone who watched last week's EV NEWS. So should the Cele-Berry Meringue waiting in front of the Gear, for that matter. Homemade and fresh, thank you very much.]

Bringing back a spring snow after weeks of summer heat matches both sentences perfectly, if you ask me. Has anyone thought to look for legendary Pokémon around their garden today?

Pokémon that are officially considered legends. There are a few of those, though we see them only rarely. Those three dogs that caused storms last year, Lugia and the flood two years ago...

[Hm, there might be a pattern there.]

And now all the ones the Professor mentioned during the cooking special. The locals rarely offer their information so freely.

[He hasn't been around for any of those weather episodes just yet. Well, there was the scorching summer recently but he just chalked it up to weird weather.

That's only when they are disturbed, which is sadly humans' most common interaction with them. Otherwise, they can be quite pleasant. Entei even knocked down a tree to give me shelter, during last year's storm.

Celebi? I would have thought Articuno, or perhaps Regice again, though hopefully we won't be seeing those golems for some time.

An Ice-type would have caused a bigger snowfall, surely? None of the legendaries that have shown themselves to us cared much for restraining themselves or their powers.

Well it depends on where they are, I would think. And just how active they're really being. If they're just stirring a little, this could be the result.

If they're waking up for some reason, we might be expecting this situation to escalate, quickly.

There was a whole study about that in a book I found, if you'd believe it. 'Course, it was inconclusive because Celebi didn't even show up, but.

[Though it hasn't been too terribly long since John and Cecil last spoke, the former looks like he's somehow aged about three or four years within the span of a few months. Really, he only aged one but when you're a late bloomer and you still look around twelve years old when you're actually fifteen... one year of a year of puberty can make a world of difference. John's sixteen now and he finally looks his age for once: taller, somewhat muscled instead of pudgy, but still recognizably John. There are faint shadows beneath his eyes, and he looks a little less energetic than usual but he's definitely doing better on the sleeping front than he was a couple of days ago.]

Isn't Celebi part grass though? Wouldn't the snow outside make it want to stay in... wherever a wild legendary Pokémon goes to hide. A cave or something, maybe?

Is it? That would explain some of its other powers, though it would also make it less likely to be responsible for the snow. Unless everyone's reactions are worth dealing with an element it dislikes. And it was easier than I thought it would be, though I do wish I'd tried it yesterday instead.

Anyway, Celebi is a forest spirit so I thought it was part grass. Maybe I'm wrong, though. Though as a prankster myself, I can say that you have a point. Sometimes the look on someone's face is really just the most important thing and damn the penalties.

...hmmm. That had never occurred to me, though it does make some sense as a theory... for what it's worth, though, I've been observing the shrine fairly regularly for quite some time and I haven't noticed anything particularly out of the ordinary.

That shrine did nothing out of the ordinary when I saw it two and a half years ago, either. I sometimes doubt it ever will. ...But then again, if Celebi were active, you'd think this phenomenon would have it as its center.

I've had no luck with it either, unfortunately. About the only thing I haven't done is try to attack it, but... that would just be disrespectful, and I have a feeling it would end poorly. Anyway, it doesn't seem like the snow where you are is any more severe than here, so unless it's specifically trying to cover its tracks...
