Really, he only aged one but when you're a late bloomer and you still look around twelve years old when you're actually fifteen... one year of a year of puberty can make a world of difference. John's sixteen now and he finally looks his age for once: taller, somewhat muscled instead of pudgy, but still recognizably John. Isn't Celebi part grass though? Wouldn't the snow outside make it want to stay in... wherever a wild legendary Pokémon goes to hide. A cave or something, maybe?
