Bringing back a spring snow after weeks of summer heat matches both sentences perfectly, if you ask me. Has anyone thought to look for legendary Pokémon around their garden today?

Well it depends on where they are, I would think. And just how active they're really being. If they're just stirring a little, this could be the result.

If they're waking up for some reason, we might be expecting this situation to escalate, quickly.

And then we'll find find ourselves with over three metres of accumulated snow in less than a week. Again. Along with frozen seas and rivers, of course, to end the month impressively.

Unless they wake up the others of their group, at any rate.

I certainly hope that'll not be the case. The fact that they often come in threes is interesting, but it does make the situation more dangerous than it should be.

[All they'd need is a talking Slowking.]

A playful creature who only wants to tease us and heal our dying tomato plants would be nice, for once.

Well, we can always hope. Things haven't gotten catastrophic yet, so you could very well be right on this.

I've been planting a garden in my yard. Between the heat wave and the Grimers, the vegetables... A Pokémon that can heal them would be a great help, you could say.

The obvious answer would be the sewers. I am fervently hoping that the obvious answer is wrong.

Every city has a sewer system, though, so this would imply that something is... very wrong with Celadon's sewers.

Wait, isn't Celadon's gym plant type? This seems like a very bad combination.

It would be, but as it turns out they mostly leave the Gym alone. They favor natural and man-made ponds, instead. They can also be found in Saffron, if I recall correctly.

Well, I guess a preference for still water makes sense, as it wouldn't flush them away... one wonders what might happen if Suicune touched it, though.

On the one hand, if Suicune has the same sort of presence as Entei the Grimers should in theory let it use its abilities and leave the pond alone. On the other hand, those specimens are even more stubborn than the average flan.

Flan? You mean like the dessert? Does your world have creatures that resemble it or is the name just a coincidence?

Someone with a lot of imagination would say that they somewhat resemble the dessert. Everyone else would say that they look like a rainbow set of Grimers, without the poison. Mostly.

Cecil, I think I may have said this before, but your world horrifies me.

... Granted, mine has Hydras, Windigos, and Changelings among other things, but still.

It's not so bad. Most of the particularly dangerous monsters live in caves that no sane person would visit without a good reason. ...I do hope that's also the case for your Hydras and Windigos and Changelings, too.

Hydras, yes, though replace "caves" with "swamps.

Windigos, however, appear wherever there's sufficient hatred to sustain them, that being what they feed off of. Changelings, meanwhile, feed on love.

I think you can see the problem there.

..Well. Your world is definitely stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't suppose they naturally hunt each other down?

Nowhere near that lucky, I'm afraid. I'm not even sure Changelings have natural predators, and Windigos... well, Windigos are vulnerable to any good friendship, so at least there's that to keep them at bay. They're mostly legend these days thanks to the nature of Equestria as a whole.

Unfortunately, that same nature is very appealing to Changelings. Their queen once said that Equestria had "the most love of any country she's ever seen".

And of course, merely giving a country that reputation is enough to attract plenty of interested Changelings. Unless they'd feel that love from afar no matter what?

I'm not quite sure how far their senses, whatever sense they use to find it, extend. Certainly they seem to be able to find it across a city.

...Violet or Goldenrod-sized?

[Because there's a bit of a difference there.]

Not quite Goldenrod but much larger than Violet. Olivine, perhaps?

That sounds decent enough for an innate magical ability, though it must also make them troublesome.
