Bringing back a spring snow after weeks of summer heat matches both sentences perfectly, if you ask me. Has anyone thought to look for legendary Pokémon around their garden today?

It might have been someone else telling the tales...

Or then they're just urban legends.

Yep. I'd really like to know who writes the text for the Pokédex entries...

Not any of the professors, I hope.

In the games professor Oak is the one who gives you the Pokédex... but he asks you to fill it for him.

...We might be reading entries written by ten-year-old amateur scientists, then. That would explain a lot.

Well that's the weird thing. Everytime you caught a Pokémon you automatically got an entry. It's like the Pokédex wrote them itself.

...Would that not imply that it is sentient?

I guess it would. I really have no idea how it works... or what the game makers were thinking.

If it was a game, the true process could have been simplified for the children's sake.

Though the Pokédex informations in this world might really be written by kids, then...

Surely no self-respecting professor would allow that.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. They do ask you if you're a boy or a girl even if it would be obvious.
