"Celebi is an extremely playful species. Its main ability is the power to travel through time." Or so the Professor said.

[Today's quote should sound quite familiar to anyone who watched last week's EV NEWS. So should the Cele-Berry Meringue waiting in front of the Gear, for that matter. Homemade and fresh, thank you very much.]

Bringing back a spring snow after weeks of summer heat matches both sentences perfectly, if you ask me. Has anyone thought to look for legendary Pokémon around their garden today?

[Not that Cecil himself has, of course. Nope.]

[John's silent for a moment, clearly taking Cecil quite literally and trying to imagine some kind of super powered Glaceon or Leafeon. He kind of ends up spacing out, oops.]

Ah, sorry um. Yeah, it could have been. But I guess we will never know one way or the other unless we build a time machine or somebody manages to befriend Celebi or something. Because you would have to be there to see.

And maybe Ho-oh just has really, really high standards. I mean how long was the sword in the stone until Arthur pulled it out?
ghostytrainer: (really? while wearing galoshes?)

Hopefully so. I mean especially if it's considered a "playful" species. Everything seems to make it out to have a fairly agreeable nature, if not somewhat trickstery. Did you really get along with Entei though like... what happened there? Did you try talking to it or something?

It was a pretty long time though I think, yeah. Something like... long enough for people to forget that the sword in the stone test existed. And I am pretty sure that a pure heart was one of the requirements to getting it out. So if Ho-oh is as picky as the sword, it could be searching for hundreds of years not just a hundred-or-so.
ghostytrainer: (that was a pretty funny joke!)

Hehe, really? That sounds awesome. So I take it Entei likes steak then? Or was it just the gesture itself?

Could be! Kind of sounds like an oddly specific yet random reason to bring people here but what do we know. Maybe there's some greater importance to Ho-oh's quest. But... does that mean that if Ho-oh does find somebody that we all have to leave?

Hehehe. That's actually kind of cute. You know for a... giant volcano dog thing.

Mmm... well I hope that if that is the case, it at least gives us a choice whether or not we want to go back. I mean, while home is unpleasant for me personally and I just don't want to go back, for some people it can be a full on death sentence. And that would be kind of terrible to force them to go back to if they don't want to, you know?
ghostytrainer: (you are talking to the pranking MASTER.)

Haha, wow really? I never pegged you for the crazy cat lady sort. Hehehe. That is a lot of Meowths did you like... pied piper them or did people just keep leaving them to you or something?

I... guess you have a point though. [He doesn't sound entirely convinced. But then again, he's a kid who has seen far too many people die already. He knows death is inevitable, but at the same time... he wants for everyone to be able to avoid it for as long as they can. Until it's the "Right Time".]
