"Celebi is an extremely playful species. Its main ability is the power to travel through time." Or so the Professor said.
[Today's quote should sound quite familiar to anyone who watched last week's EV NEWS. So should the Cele-Berry Meringue waiting in front of the Gear, for that matter. Homemade and fresh, thank you very much.]
Bringing back a spring snow after weeks of summer heat matches both sentences perfectly, if you ask me. Has anyone thought to look for legendary Pokémon around their garden today?
[Not that Cecil himself has, of course. Nope.]

Ah, sorry um. Yeah, it could have been. But I guess we will never know one way or the other unless we build a time machine or somebody manages to befriend Celebi or something. Because you would have to be there to see.
And maybe Ho-oh just has really, really high standards. I mean how long was the sword in the stone until Arthur pulled it out?
video;
[Except for the playful part, possibly.]
I've no idea, but I imagine it was a long time.
video;
It was a pretty long time though I think, yeah. Something like... long enough for people to forget that the sword in the stone test existed. And I am pretty sure that a pure heart was one of the requirements to getting it out. So if Ho-oh is as picky as the sword, it could be searching for hundreds of years not just a hundred-or-so.
video;
...Perhaps that is one of the reasons we were brought here. The more people Ho-oh sees, the more likely it is it'll find the one it seeks.
video;
Could be! Kind of sounds like an oddly specific yet random reason to bring people here but what do we know. Maybe there's some greater importance to Ho-oh's quest. But... does that mean that if Ho-oh does find somebody that we all have to leave?
video;
That's quite possible, depending on the number of reasons we were brought here in the first place. If it happens to be the principal one, finding that person would be reason enough to send most of us home.
video;
Mmm... well I hope that if that is the case, it at least gives us a choice whether or not we want to go back. I mean, while home is unpleasant for me personally and I just don't want to go back, for some people it can be a full on death sentence. And that would be kind of terrible to force them to go back to if they don't want to, you know?
video;
...I know. But at the same time, living eternally beyond our lifetimes in another world might not be for the best, either.
video;
I... guess you have a point though. [He doesn't sound entirely convinced. But then again, he's a kid who has seen far too many people die already. He knows death is inevitable, but at the same time... he wants for everyone to be able to avoid it for as long as they can. Until it's the "Right Time".]
video;
...But that's only eternally. A few months or years should not hurt whatever balance there might be in the world too much.
