That's exactly it. A surprising number of species can learn it.

Yeah, they do... In a way, it's not too weird. Earthquake is really them making the ground shake a lot.

[The logic there is a little easier to understand than most other moves.]

After a while, maybe the novelty of it wears off and they stop using it a lot.

I slightly regretted teaching my Lopunny strength at first. She's uh...kind of a hugger. So in retrospect, that was probably not the best thing I could have done but she's gotten better about the whole uh...overly strong hugs thing.

I used my new TM on everyone that could learn it. Said TM happened to be Earthquake.

I've discovered that teaching Earthquake to a bombastic Blastoise probably isn't such a bright idea. Sometimes she'll start shaking things just to look cool... and don't even get me started with Quake.

[Sigh. That Garchomp's a real nutcase.]

And sometimes Phantom starts using Double Team just to mess with my head.

Your Blastoise will be pleased to know that she has twenty-one kindred spirits in this house. How often does she do it, these days?

Have you tried training him out of it with a few Aerial Aces or Magical Leaves? They'd be too weak to truly harm him, while still ruining his fun.

-I do wish they'd practice said attack less often. I doubt this house was built to endure such abuse.
