Everyone, good evening. I hope this day finds you in good health.

However, this is not a social call but an inquiry. Does anyone intend to leave Cherrygrove for Violet soon? I have offered to escort a few people there, and I was wondering if anyone would like to join us. Having access to a Pokémon large enough to ride would be optimal, but we can share if it comes down to it. We would depart tomorrow morning. If you are interested, please contact me on the Pokégear or in person. I am currently at the inn, and would be more than happy to answer any questions.

[Flare barks happily in response, though whether it's because of the pettings or because of the possible future opportunities to show off is anyone's guess.]

[ Smiles, then she turns to Cecil. ]

So what now?

I do believe we've completed our riding lesson. [His smile widens.] Unless you would like some hot chocolate? I've found where in the kitchen they keep all the ingredients.

Hot chocolate... Would they just let us, though?

They've never given me any trouble about it. We'll merely need to clean up after ourselves.

[ Nods. ] Okay. That sounds nice.

Perfect. Let's go, then. [With this, our intrepid heroes leave for the kitchen!]

[ Onward they go! Xion just follows him wordlessly, occasionally looking down at Axel following them. ]

[Cecil really must know the way, because they quickly reach the kitchen and he goes directly to the right cupboard. He starts rummaging through it.]

Will you want a few marshmallows with your hot chocolate?

[ She nods. She didn't have much interaction with such... normal beverages, so she's eager to try all variations. ]

Marshmallows it is. Will Axel and Bell also take some?

Is it okay for them?

[Dryly.] If it was not, perhaps my team would stop stealing sips from mine whenever they can.

[ Tilts her head, then she sees Axel wave his arms as if he wants some, then nods. Takes out the Pokeball containing Bell, and out comes her Togetic with a joyous sound... and promptly taping herself to Xion's face in a fierce hug. ]

Mmmph!

What an affectionate Togetic! Do try to avoid smothering your trainer, please. [For someone who uses the word 'smothering', he sounds pretty amused.]

[ Bell turns and flies toward Cecil, practically shoving her face at him. Chirps. She doesn't know who this guy is! An enemy? Besides Xion's feet, Axel denies this, and Bell tilts her head at Cecil, then waves, holding her "hand" out to him. Meanwhile, Xion is rubbing her face for a moment, but keeping one eye open to watch Bell. ]

[He's dealt with Gyarados before; Togetic is nothing to worry about! (He hopes.) He merely takes her 'hand' in his.]

Well met, milady. Are you doing well today?

[ Shake shake shake! Bell chirps again. Man is a nice man! She even nods her head vigorously before her attention turns to the cups and flies over to one of them. Hot chocolate? And also, Cecil should totally help Xion get a Magikarp so she could level it to a Gyarados. For the lulz. And to get a Water-type in her team. ]

I think she does want some.

[Now that he has Bell's approval, he starts distributing marshmallows in all the cups. And he totally would, as he actually likes Magikarps and Gyarados. And likes warning trainers about the dangers of mistreating your Magikarp.]

A Togetic of discerning taste, then. I suppose I should take out-

[But before he can finish that sentence, a Clefairy, a Meganium, a Riolu, a Feebas and a Dratini pop out of their balls and throw themselves at the nearest free cups.]

Ah! [ Well, that was unexpected. A whole party of Pokemon just... popped out, and she hastily scoops up Axel in her arms so that he doesn't get lost among them. ]

They all want some?

[Hey, they're not rude enough to trample him. In fact, Rosie even takes the time to wave before she returns to her drink.]

After all the snow and cold we had, I think they'd be happy to drink anything warm. Chocolate merely happens to be their favorite.

[ Xion tilts her head at them, and Axel wriggles in her arms. She lets go of him and watches him bound over to one of the free cups while waving to Rosie. She smiles at the scene. ]

At least they're enjoying themselves.

Who would not, while enjoying some homemade hot chocolate with good company?

[ Nods. She'd understand, at least, the fact of enjoying something while with friends or someone familiar. She did that often with Axel and Roxas. ]
