Everyone, good evening. I hope this day finds you in good health.

However, this is not a social call but an inquiry. Does anyone intend to leave Cherrygrove for Violet soon? I have offered to escort a few people there, and I was wondering if anyone would like to join us. Having access to a Pokémon large enough to ride would be optimal, but we can share if it comes down to it. We would depart tomorrow morning. If you are interested, please contact me on the Pokégear or in person. I am currently at the inn, and would be more than happy to answer any questions.

Ah! [ Well, that was unexpected. A whole party of Pokemon just... popped out, and she hastily scoops up Axel in her arms so that he doesn't get lost among them. ]

They all want some?

[Hey, they're not rude enough to trample him. In fact, Rosie even takes the time to wave before she returns to her drink.]

After all the snow and cold we had, I think they'd be happy to drink anything warm. Chocolate merely happens to be their favorite.

[ Xion tilts her head at them, and Axel wriggles in her arms. She lets go of him and watches him bound over to one of the free cups while waving to Rosie. She smiles at the scene. ]

At least they're enjoying themselves.

Who would not, while enjoying some homemade hot chocolate with good company?

[ Nods. She'd understand, at least, the fact of enjoying something while with friends or someone familiar. She did that often with Axel and Roxas. ]

[He grabs a cup from somewhere in the middle of the poképile and adds three marshmallows to it, before giving it to Xion.]

[ Smiles warmly and blows a few puffs of air at her cup to cool it down a little before she takes a sip. That is satisfying, especially in this weather. ]

What are the plans?

I was thinking of leaving at nine or ten tomorrow morning. Not too early, but not too late either. The journey could take as little as three days, but with two or three riders I'd rather not risk it. Therefore, we should arrive in Violet on Tuesday, in the late evening. That would mean missing the festival, but the only way to be there would be to leave after the fourteenth.

[ She nods after digesting all that information, then takes more sips from her hot chocolate. ]

On the way there, do you think you could teach me more about Pokemon?

Of course. Between the Pokémon I have with me and the ones I have in storage, I can use attacks of all types except Rock. I can show you a few strategies and how to counter them.

[ She looks interested about that, yup. ] You mentioned "storage" before... What's that?

For some reason, we are only allowed to keep six Pokémon with us. When we catch a seventh, its pokéball is teleported away. If we want to keep that Pokémon in our team, we need to find a special computer and exchange it for one of the Pokémon we have with us.

That's odd... but at least we know they're somewhere safe?

The Pokémon I took out of storage were always in perfect health. They must be well protected from attacks or accidents.

Where would we take them out of storage?

The Pokémon Centers all have the necessary equipment. It might also be found elsewhere, but they are the most practical location. However, that means that you cannot take out Pokémon while on the road.

[ Nods, then sips again. ] I understand.

[ Glances at Bell and Axel. ] It's still hard to believe I'm here...

That is understandable. It takes everyone some time to get used to it.

How long did it take for you?

It took three weeks before I was even willing to believe. [He takes a sip.] But after that, I started seeing more of this world, and it became easier for me to accept it.

Do you still want to go back to your own world, though?

I do. My world is in great danger, and my family is waiting for me.

[ And he has a family, too... Things must have been harder for Cecil than she thought. Feeling that she touched upon a sensitive subject, she lowers her head and stares into her mug. ]
