Everyone, good evening. I hope this day finds you in good health.

However, this is not a social call but an inquiry. Does anyone intend to leave Cherrygrove for Violet soon? I have offered to escort a few people there, and I was wondering if anyone would like to join us. Having access to a Pokémon large enough to ride would be optimal, but we can share if it comes down to it. We would depart tomorrow morning. If you are interested, please contact me on the Pokégear or in person. I am currently at the inn, and would be more than happy to answer any questions.

There are many kind people in this, of all ages and origins. Talking to them all would be impossible, but quite interesting.

It'd give us a chance to learn about them.

[ ooc: been thinkin' of making a post of Xion training with Cecil, perhaps? Cecil and/or Lancer on the way there. How's that? ]

We might even discover that we have much in common with others.

I wonder... I mean, that is if they're willing to share.

[ ooc: Oh, and by training, like... with wooden stuff, probably hastily made makeshift weapons, maybe before or after a Pokemon battle. Gonna have to ask Lancer-mun about this, and if not, we could just have the two of them. ]

Most are willing to share general information about their worlds, at least.

If you say so. [He's not the type to pry too much.] I'm lucky enough to have many lands to describe: my planet, its underworld, both of our moons, the Void... But some people have only seen their whole country. Johto must be a great shock to them.

[[ooc: ...Five-ten guy fighting against a teenage girl. I bet he'll have to answer to a lot of angry tags. XD]]

It must be. But it seems that there are a lot of worlds that look similar to each other, but not really connected.

[ ooc: ... lol, oh god. Xion'll just have to say she didn't mind it, as they weren't really fighting. Besides, she likes Cecil! He's nice! ]

I can think of nine or twelve worlds that are somewhat similar to mine. But their connection was both dangerous and temporary. The particular incident did help me make many friends, including a few that are currently in Johto.

That's a lot... But what did you mean their connection was "both dangerous and temporary"?

A god of disorder took pieces from all of them and threw them together in the Void. He was planning to destroy them after defeating his adversary. That patchwork world was not exactly stable.

[[ooc: Exactly. She's now in the 'fighter' category! ...And in the 'try to convince to leave because she is a lady' category if something really bad happens. Ineffectual sexism, FFIV has it.]]

We did, though it was not easy. He was a powerful opponent. But once we did, our worlds were separated again, and we were unable to see each other until Johto.

It's nice that you found your friends again, Cecil.

It is. Though they unfairly managed to stay young while I aged. And since people from their worlds also show up, I can meet their other friends.

[ Xion pointedly looks at him. ] You don't really look all that old.

I'm still far from old, but I look younger than I am. When I told them how much time had passed, they all had a bit of a shock.

Um, how old are you?

Counting the five months I've spent in Johto, I'm thirty-eight.

[ She's just gonna stare wide-eyed at you, Cecil. W-Wow. ]

Considering they last saw me at twenty, you can imagine the surprise everyone felt.

You... really don't look that old.

That is a family trait. But I assure you I am. In fact, even my son is a few years older than you.
