It is somewhat strange, but I imagine it happened more often than we remember.

I've no doubt that it did. I know more than most how easily someone can be made to switch alliances.

And losing our memories after every cycle cannot have helped.

Indeed. We could have defeated Chaos more easily had we retained those memories between cycles.

....That is quite possibly why we kept losing them in the first place.

So I'm aware... our defeat meant losing our memories... so the cycles could very well have repeated without end. Had Golbez not made me aware, I don't know what may have happened.

Indeed so- I dread to consider what may have happened had the truth of the cycles not been revealed. We would have never known to make a plan to save the rest of you.
