Well, I suppose Cosmos did call him for a reason... Exdeath did make for a challenging opponent when I fought him.

[Oh god no he would have to defend his manly dignity and actually beat her this time! He's sort of afraid it won't be that easy, though.]

Being a challenging opponent did not save him in the end, believe me.

[That would just make Cecil even more willing to pay money to see it.]

It's good to hear that he was defeated once and for all. Someone needed to silence him.

That's probably for the best, so that you're beyond certain that none of them escaped.
