Possibly. Otherwise, Rydia would surely have mentioned all those Eidolons she's not yet summoned.

It has its advantages, too. Everyone's team is unique, and usually difficult to predict in battle.

I imagine that would make for an interesting enough challenge.

Oh, it is! You must have counters for all types, ways of dealing both physical and special damage, moves that can inflict status conditions...

It seems you're learning the strategy well. I hope that doesn't mean you'll grow too out of practice of regular combat, should you return home.
