With the new additions to Goldenrod's catalog, I thought shopping might be a good idea, and it appears my Pokémon agree. Will anyone need something from that list? Some of those items can be rather expensive for newcomers, especially if you've not yet found work. As long as you tell me where you are, I can ask the store to post it to you.

Some of them have been gone for a very long time, now.

What do you do?

Remember them fondly. Keep an eye on the Pokégear, and perhaps contact them if they reappear. What else can I do?

Find them? Keep them with you? Take them back with you to your world...!?

...That last one, I could not do, no matter what. Finding them and staying by their side is fine if it is also their wish, but meeting someone in this world is not always easy.

People move further and further to earn their badges, while others backtrack to pick up friends and family members. Children, sleeping people and those who are weak-bodied cannot travel as much, but should not be left alone either. Groups do not want to be separated, even if it means waiting after a few members. Finding ourselves in the same city can be a puzzle, at times.

... So you do what you can.

You don't give up just because it sounds hard.

And what I can do at the moment is wait for my friends to be ready to come to Ecruteak, even if it takes a few weeks, and open the path for them.

And if they're gone before that...!?

I'll take care of any of their Pokémon I can find. Again.

They come from a different time, and it appears something happened at that moment to make them wary of each other.

It was, and quite probably still is. Amnesia never simplifies a situation.
