With the new additions to Goldenrod's catalog, I thought shopping might be a good idea, and it appears my Pokémon agree. Will anyone need something from that list? Some of those items can be rather expensive for newcomers, especially if you've not yet found work. As long as you tell me where you are, I can ask the store to post it to you.

... Yeah. You can say that again.

Even if there was someone here naturally immune to death...

... but since our powers are all gone, that's kind of moot.

Perhaps we'll find a way to have them back, someday.

We can hope. We'll just have to do what we can in the meantime.

Training Pokémon and challenging the Gyms is enjoyable enough, at least.

They could gain levels a little faster if you ask me.

Perhaps it takes time to compensate for the sudden changes caused by evolution?

... think that could really be it?

It's as good a guess as I can offer.

Guesses can always be right.

Yet how are we to know, unless they are confirmed to us?

Experimenting...?

By comparing the growth of Pokémon with and without evolutions, perhaps...

That... could work. It'd take a lot of people though.

Different species, training regimens, perhaps even diets...

When you start thinking about it, there might be no way to tell.

Or it could take decades of research, which would mean the same thing in practice.

...Then again, the locals do study their Pokémon. They might already have that information.

... How do you get real info from them though?

Doing the work ourselves almost feels faster.

...You pray for a minor miracle, give up and do it yourself, probably.

I think I'd rather my miracles go other ways.

I can also think of other ways to spend them, if at all possible.
