[Many objects are piling up in front of the Pokégear: food reserves, drinks, Potions of all kinds, enough Ice Heals to last a month, Pokéballs... Could someone be insane enough to brave the tempest?]

[Rosie appears, bearing a few Escape Ropes. She dumps them next to the pile before looking around for gloves.]

I'll try to defeat the Gym leader during my stay. Light, Firion, Bartz, Zidane, Miss Lenna, we could meet up at the Sudowoodo after that.

[But already he's paying more attention to his supplies than to his Pokégear. Avenger sighs and turns it off.]

You could say that. My travelling group was made up of over twenty people, including the dolls. Most of us have known each other for years.

....Twenty people? _{[Iris looks shocked.]} That's quite a lot. No wonder you have so many friends! It's wonderful you are all so close.

Dolls? What do you mean by that?

We had a goal in common, so we decided to pool our resources. It works well enough.

Two of our teammates are animated dancing dolls. They both possess some form of sentience, and they can fight as well as anyone else.

A common goal?

That must have been difficult. How did you keep track of all of them?

Animated dolls? Were they animated with technology or...magic?

People can be surprising resourceful, when taking part in an heroic mission.

With technology, I believe. Their creator was not too familiar with magic.

_{[Iris giggles.]} I'd love to see you on a heroic mission. You must be quite brave!

We have dolls that can move in California, but...nothing that advanced.

Heroic mission are great deal less impressive when you participate, I assure you.

Dwarf technology is rather advanced by my world's standards. That level of autonomy is not common.

Oh dear. Well, I'm sure they make good tales for your son!

I think he'll enjoy them less, now that he's part of one himself.

It's a shame we cannot visit each other's world. The comparisons could be interesting.

Yes. I'm sure your world is lovely. And I'm sure you would enjoy Hazakura. It's a very peaceful place.

He is. He can fight with five different types of weapons, and his healing powers are much greater than mine.

A few of our fellow outworlders have mentioned visiting other worlds. If only we could fin a way to make it work for everyone...

He sounds wonderful. You must have trained him well.

Yes. It would be very useful. I'm sure there are some worlds that possess things that would be useful to other worlds.

With so many worlds working together, technology and magic could advance at a prodigious rate.

It would certainly be beneficial. I wish someone would find a way to make that possible. Surely it will happen someday...

This world managed to bring us all together, somehow. If we could find how they did it, we could try to modify their technique and visit each other at will.

That would be wonderful! I would love to see Baron. I'm sure it's wonderful! And, I would love to meet your family someday.

And then I'd have to visit Hazakura, and meet Sister Bikini.

Yes! I'm sure she'd like you. We don't have very many males guests. It would be a treat!

Why do you receive so few male guests? Is there a prohibition?

No, nothing like that. It's just that at Kurain Village and Hazakura...for some reason, it is always the women who have spiritual power. And because many come to Hazakura solely to increase their spiritual powers, we don't see very many men.

The power is female-only? How strange. I've heard of powers that favor women, but never of any exclusivity.

It is rather strange. That's why...the only men there are those that are married to the women in the village.

I find that hard to believe. Surely some of the women must have sons?

Sons...they are...well, some are kept but most are...abandoned.

...Abandoned, or given away? [That's kind of an important distinction.]
