Finding a Fire-type Gym so close to a frozen cavern was unexpected, but they seem to be doing well enough.

I just assumed the world couldn't handle it. My ex-girlfriend here was a bird in her world with enough powers to make pokemon look weak. It'd be a lot for this place to juggle.

That seems to be the case for many here. Of course, plenty of normal people are also brought to New Bark Town, so I doubt it's linked to our situation.
