Finding a Fire-type Gym so close to a frozen cavern was unexpected, but they seem to be doing well enough.

[Cecil looks cheerful, proud and covered by a thin layer of frost. That's what happens when the whole battle is spent under Rain Dance and said frozen cavern is visited right after, but he doesn't mind.]

Two more badges to earn by August 29. Perhaps having sixteen has more of an effect than having only Johto's eight; we'll know soon enough

Well, I've got plenty of dragons, steel types, and other powerful Pokémon to cover move variety.

[His Dragonite's basically been pimped out with tutor moves, TMs, so many crazy things. Not to mention Flare...]

...I have more than enough dragons, but I must admit that my team is slightly lacking in Steel-types. It's a shame, considering their defenses.

[Overpowered Dragonites seem to be very popular.]

I've got a handful these days. Scizor, Lucario, Aggron, Steelix, and Skarmory. If you can get past their fire weakness, they definitely come in handy.

[Lots of resistances. Immunity to poison and sandstorms? Heck yeah.]

A Lucario is always nice to have, though poor Firion has to pull double duty as the only one of his type. He did quite well against Blaine's Magcargo.

Fighting and steel tend to nail rocks pretty easily.

They do. Which is why that Water-type TM might have been overkill.

Hey, it's not half as bad as Flare using Blast Burn on Bugsy's Scizor.
