[Cecil is out shopping in the Department Store. Again, you might want to say. But this time he holds the Pokégear with his left hand while the rest of his body is buried by bags and boxes of all kinds, and people can see a feminine hand adding more to the pile every so often.]

I would like to thank everyone who has sent me gifts. All of your choices were extremely thoughtful, and I have no doubt I will enjoy all of them.

I would also like to apologize to every trainer who might have wanted to challenge Whitney this afternoon. I was unaware that drying her tears would involve taking over her day. On my honor, I swear I will try to convince her to return to the Gym before nightfall.

All pretty nicknames. I didn't realize you could come up with so many nicknames for Elizabeth. You're very good at this!

It's because it's such a long name. There are more than enough letters for a shorter name or two.

I'll tell you once I find out. I suppose I could ask Nurse Joy, but a surprise would be fine too.

That's true. Iris is only four letters-it would be very hard to come up with a nickname for me, I think.

Let's see... Irie? Rissie? There aren't a lot of possibilities.

That's true...Maybe I'll ask her, but I don't want to ruin the surprise! I think someone would have told me if a vicious Pokemon was going to hatch from this egg.

I don't think you can say a Pokémon will be viscious because of its species. It might look dangerous but be quite sweet.

That's true! My friend Shadow had a Houndour-Houndoom now-and he was the sweetest thing.

Even Flare will become rather imposing, yet there is no kind Pokémon around.

My friend Miles' Growlithe evolved today! She's so large. Poor Miles was frightened half to death! But she's a dear really.

With Arcanine's size, your friend will be able to sleep on her, if he wants. And I'm certain she'd let him do it.

That would be so sweet! He seems so tiny standing next to her now! He's only ten, so he's rather small to begin with, but now he seems ever smaller!

Only ten? I do hope he's not travelling alone. There are so many children, I think some of them end up left to themselves.

No, he's a very intelligent little one. I'm sure he would be fine on his own, but not to worry! He's in Goldenrod now actually, with Phoenix. They're childhood friends or so they tell me. It's rather cute.

Childhood friends? They also suffer from a timeline difference, then? What large is the gap?

That's right! Yes, Miles is ten and Phoenix is...my age or perhaps a little younger.

That's nearly as much as the difference between my friends and I.

My sister is actually younger than I am here, although she seems the same.

All of them are seventeen years younger than they would be by my time, though I suppose time might flow differently in their worlds.

No, it's just that her nature has not changed. And she was fully grown by collage...

It was. They look the same as they did back then, while I've aged and mature a little.

Well, maybe. I hadn't really thought about it before. But, she's always liked to wear a lot of make-up. She likes to stay very pretty.

We did. I must still look as I did when I was younger, at least a little.

That's perfectly normal. We want people to see us at our best, and we try to hide our imperfections.

That's good. I didn't recognize one of my friends because I hadn't actually met him yet. He came from the future and so...it upset me greatly to see how disappointed he was when I didn't remember him. _{[Iris smiles.]} But we still managed to become friends again. I'm glad something similar didn't happen to you.

Yes, and her beauty makes it easier for her to sway people to her side. It's a technique she uses a lot.

Actually, when I arrived, my friends told me that another of our comrades was present, but did not remember us. I... didn't have to courage to talk to him, before he disappeared.

Beautiful ladies are dangerous. They have great weapons, and they know how to use them.

[video] Go for it! But those circular Pokémon are hard because you have to have a perfect circle.

[video] When I was little I used glue sticks. Couldn't draw them otherwise.

[video] That's lucky. When you draw big, it's easier to pick out mistakes.

[video] I was the type to put as much as I could on a sheet of paper.
