[So. Cecil woke up thanks to a strange flash of light, only to find an unknown Pokémon in his room. How did he react? Why, by inviting it to a picnic and making as many sandwiches as he could, of course!

Well, actually he blinked, froze, stared, almost shouted, decided against it, reached for his sword, remembered he didn't have his sword, cursed his lack of a sword, realized the monster was still there, stared some more, asked if said monster was hoping to eat him, felt quite relieved when it shook its head, stood up, looked outside, saw all the strange people and Pokémon in the street, decided he was hallucinating, woke his Pokémon up, got dressed, smiled, and finally decided to invite the amused Pokémon to a picnic. But who cares about the details?]

And here we were, wondering what would happen this month. At least the colors are not eye-searing, this time. Would you like another ham and lettuce sandwich, Miss Cresselia?

It's not that bad. Metapods evolve quickly, and Butterfrees are quite friendly.

...Yeah, but--

[They're girly. Even though Ruby isn't the most manly Pokémon either.]

...Esuna, Psybeam on that Rattata.

[See that poor knocked out Rattata. See Esuna preen and fly around happily.]

...Well look there. That was kind of cool.

Butterfrees also learn quite a few Psychic attacks. People never expect that.

Oh really? I didn't know that...uh--obviously.

Pokémon have surprising attacks, sometimes. Rosie learned a Grass attack that always hits the opponent, no matter what.

Really? That's awesome!

[It always bothers him when his Pokémon misses. :|;]

It was quite useful when Falkner's birds kept dodging, though its type was disadvantaged.

Hmmm...having troubles with the dodging, huh?

Do you intend to challenge Falkner soon? I believe Suzuki is getting weary of Violet. We were talking about using Ecruteak as a base, for easy travelling.

Are you letting your team gain more levels, or are you simply refining your strategies?

I'm trying to gain more levels. I...was a little lax in training for a little bit there. I'm a little behind. Heh.

Oh? Were you perhaps distracted? Not that it's a bad thing, mind you. I trained Rosie very little at first, too.

Yeah, I was very distracted...I didn't train much at first. But now I'm getting the hang of it all!

Better late than never. Especially since Firion, Squall, Light and I can now give you pointers.
