[Ahhh, the last weekend of November. As nearly always, every city is invaded by dozens of confused new arrivals, strange Legendaries party like it's 1999, innocent trainers and breeders wake up on the beach or in the middle of the Ice Cave, not-so innocent Rockets do the same, Cecil's house and yard are overtaken by thousands upon thousands of shiny and non-shiny Zubats...

...Wait, what?]

If anyone could help me chase these away before this world returns to normal, it'd be much appreciated!

How useful. That certainly sounds like the best way to handle poisonous bats, though.

It scares them off for sometime. They always return, of course, but every moment of peace is appreciated.

They sound like a real nuisance. It's worth getting rid of them for a time, in that case.

When are bats not a nuisance? Even when they do not number in the thousands, they are dangerous opponents.

A real nuisance... I assume these bats here are strong attackers? Or have some sort of magic as well?

They are swifter than most opponents, poisonous, and able to steal their target's energy. These qualities make for a very unpleasant fight.

I'll keep that in mind, should I ever find myself faced with such opponents.

If you spend a single second in the local caves, your chances of finding one are extremely high.

Duly noted. I don't care all that much for caves, but sometimes there are good reasons to travel through them.

Not today, unless we are brought there against our will. Again.

Let's face it, being brought to mysterious locations against our will is becoming a regular occurrence, lately.

...I'd hope it'll not become a pattern for the rest of our lives, but that'd just be asking for trouble.

It may already have become that way, whether or not you want it to be. A war of gods, now here… who knows where we might end up next?

Home would be nice, but I know better than to expect it.

You've been here a long time already, haven't you? Though I've yet to return home either...

Years and years. I've adapted, but that hardly means I'd choose to stay if given the opportunity to leave.

You've good reasons to want to return home. So many people need you and I'm sure are awaiting your return.

With any luck, they've not realized I was taken. But I'm certainly fully aware of every minute I spend away.

I've no doubt that you are. Do you think they'd simply return you at the moment of your being taken? Does it truly work that way?

According to the testimonies of multiple returnees, yes. It's a blessing, for some.

Which might be somewhat problematic. I was taken from a... tricky and inconvenient time. I'd rather not cause anyone injuries due to a momentary distraction.

I'm sure you'll find some way to manage, if and when that time comes that you return. When is it anything but problematic, after all?

I don’t know how “being taken in the middle of the night” could ever be anything but alarming, but… I suppose it really is a matter of timing as you say.
