91st moon [the 4th Wall of Jericho]

[Ah, it's that time of the year again. And unlike last time, Cecil wakes up in his own bed (even though he'd been on his way back from Saffron when he fell asleep), surrounded by his own Pokémon (and Grimers, but at this point they're almost part of the family), and with his own belongings exactly where he left them (except for his left sock, but he's long learned to expect that).

He's safe, he's in a good mood, and he intends to stay that way for the rest of this madness. And this time, he's even in a position to share the joy with any visitors!

Which is why he's now grilling all sorts of food on a fire pit in his yard, while his Pokémon are bringing chairs and large cushions outside. That they manage to do so while linked to each other with duct tape is somewhat impressive, but he's too busy not burning a steak to admire their efficiency.]

It seems you truly have an army behind you, in that case... imagine if you could bring them home to our world. You'd be near unstoppable.

Perhaps I should try to bring them back with me, then. They could also scare off any unwanted visitors.

Not for long. After a few weeks, I'd plenty of eggs to sell them; they'd have their own teams within a year.

It sounds as if they breed and repopulate quite fast.

Extremely so, especially when raised by an official breeder.

I was unaware that they have such things.

Oh, they do. ...And it somehow comes with the ability to make your Pokémon lay twice as many eggs. I've yet to understand how that works.

This world must be overrun by these creatures if that's so.

Even towns are not free of them. Have you ever had a meal stolen by a purple rat?

I can't say I've had the pleasure of such an experience. Does this happen often?

That greatly depends on how quickly you learn not to eat near alleyways.

I'm sure that's always good advice in general.

Of course. But I find it to be particularly important in this world.

This world does seem to have many unique perils... is there anything else I should know of?

Do not, I repeat, do not attempt to climb or jump off the ledges. For you will`break your arm if you make the attempt.

I've not forgotten, but this world cares little for your talents. It'll let you go down, lure you into a false sense of security, and when you'll try to come back up, well...

I've learned to compensate for that loss with Pokémon, but I must admit that it still bothers me at times.
