Two complete years spent in this world.

[Cecil's Gear must be held by one of his Pokémon, because the man himself is sitting on a chair, his back bent and facing away.]

Two sets of badges obtained...

[Normally he'd show off said badges at this point. This time, his hands come up with bandages instead, as his back straightens and he rises for the first time in two months.]

...and two legs working perfectly again, all as of today. It looks like I've found my lucky number. Perhaps I should try my hand at the lottery?

That's right. Both Johto and Kanto have eight badges to offer. You can even request to battle more difficult tems in Kanto once you've defeated everyone in Johto.

[...Huh, that's definitely an interesting to do, but sadly, he's not that thrilled at battling, so in a sense his position as a Breeder suited him...]

That must've sounded like a lot of challenge, huh? Not that it's bad or anything.

It was, but my team felt they were strong enough to handle it. Who would I be to refuse them, when they asked so nicely?

You should, truly, if only for the rewards. That cruise sounds very nice, and those TMs are quite useful.

Oh, definitely. It's been a while since I've seen the sea, so it should be interesting.

Since a larger ship would be able to further from the coast than a small boat or a Pokémon, I imagine the sights would be quite different.
