Could anyone tell me if the nurses own any Water- or Flying-type Pokémon? Especially ones that can use HMs? Along with how fast they could theoritically go, compared to a Dragonite?

I'd also like to know about alternatives to shoes. Nothing that sticks to the skin, if that's possible.

So how bad was it? Like, was there anything there at all, or was it just, like, ruins and stuff?

The Pokémon Center is the only building left on the island. Everything else is rock, lava or a Fire-type.

There used to be a big old mansion and a lab, and, y'know, the usual — the Center, the Pokémart and the Gym. It's crazy that the Center's all that's left....

Mmm... you come onto the island from Route 20 in the east, and the... Pokémart is the first thing you run into, and the Center was right next door, further west. Kinda in the center of the island, but to the south, I guess.

[ She opens her eyes. ] The Gym was on the north side of the island. I can't remember where the lab and the mansion were, though.

It sounds as though the current Center is the one you know. Yet everything both east and west of it was destroyed...

It was a volcano eruption, dude. They probably just rebuilt the Center in the same place. I dunno why they wouldn't rebuild everything else, though. I mean, the mansion was pretty much ruined already, but the lab and the Gym and the Pokémart....

I think that was mostly because of a lack of space. The volcano covers nearly everything; moving the other buildings elsewhere must have seemed easier.

Makes sense, I guess. The Seafoam Islands weren't all that big, either, but you've gotta have a Center somewhere out on that route. Ocean routes are rough.

Especially with all those Tentacools. At least they offer boat travel for a certain fee.

Man, I hate Tentacools. But I'd still rather Surf it. More fun that way. Plus, riding through the water on a Tauros is way cooler than taking a boat. [ Grin. ]

Riding a Nidoqueen also has its charms. One almost has to wonder how they can learn Surf in the first place.
