[Ladies and gentlemen, you are now getting visual proof that clothes spread between a big rock and a tree do not make a very good shelter. You are also getting proof that route 8's Meowth population is not picky, because they've apparently all found themselves there.]

...I am forced to admit that I'll not be able to travel any further. Considering I managed to withstand that blizzard a year and a half ago, this is rather frustrating.

[He does look frustrated. He also looks drenched, unkempt, tired and covered in cats. He points at a few of them.]

These all came looking for shelter, but they seem upset still. Could any cat-lover offer advice on how to calm them down?

[He'd rather not be accidentally clawed to death, if at all possible.]

I could hardly force them to suffer this weather while protecting only my team. The routes are not safe at the moment.

Tida seemed to enjoy the storm at first, but after a few hours even she preferred to hide in her pokéball. Then again, that could be because of the lightning.

Ah, the lightning... yeah, that could be it. It's so loud and it could really hurt water type Pokémon if it hit them. It must be pretty scary for them.

Especially when it comes with everything else. I've doubt every Pokémon can tell there's something strange happening at the moment.

Yeah. Me, too. I really wish we knew what was causing the storm.

[ Because maybe then they could stop it and the Pokémon wouldn't have to be frightened anymore. ]

Pokémon, probably. That always seems to be the case.

It might not be deliberate. They could simply be both very powerful and angry. A lot of Pokémon unconsciously use their powers in anger.
