I can sympathize with that much. Though I haven't had much in the way of family for a very long time.

Seventeen years, and at times I feel as if I'm still not used to having one. The heart works strangely, sometimes.

Yeah, well...family in and of itself is a difficult thing to deal with. At least, I think it is.

From what I've seen, wives and sons are easy enough to live with. Siblings are more complicated.

...I had one brother through I guess what you'd call adoption. But that was a long time ago.

Even with time, they still stay our siblings. Even if they run off for years with nary a letter sent.

I doubt I would be so fortunate. I can't help but think it was by nothing more than a miracle and freak chance combined that my son arrived here; seeing Ferdiad again may be well beyond even Johto's wildest dreams.

It could still happen. Three of my friends arrived at the same time, last week; that counts as a miracle.

I doubt Johto is going to resurrect many more two-thousand year old knights, least of all with my miserable fortune.
