[The view of route 31 is nice enough. The sun is peeking between the clouds and shining upon the snow, which looks pure and untouched... Except for a small section where a Dratini is attacking every wild Pokémon he sees while a Feebas cheers him on. Luckily, their trainer is feeling too nostalgic to scold them.]

The last Pokémon I caught for myself was Esuna, nearly a month before I first reached this city. It happened not too far from the cave, in fact... But since then, my team has grown through eggs and gifts exclusively. Is it the same for anyone else?

[The camera is still pointing at route 31, but it turns a little toward the south, toward the city that lies beyond route 30.]

I'll leave for Cherrgrove tonight. I'll reach it soon, I promise.

[And the camera turns back to the training Dratini, until the feed times out.]

They do, indeed. The two of us once spent hours dealing with Biz's collection of stolen wallets. But I think Rosie likes his wild side.

She certainly likes encouraging him when he plays pranks. And she'll always take his side during an argument.

That's...got to be a sight to see. None of mine have sweethearts, but now I admit I'm curious.

It's quite sweet, once you get used to relationships between different species. I know someone whose spider and ghost are adorably close.

Their trainer was surprised at first, but I think he warmed up to the idea. Of course, their love seemed rather innocent. I still cannot understand how certain combinations can result in eggs.

Neither can I. Actually, the erm...egg bit still gets me sometimes. Especially with pokemon like my growlithe.

I admit, seeing my own Growlithe come out of the egg was a surprise, even with a warning. But my other two eggs were a fish and a dragon, which sounds somewhat more normal, at least.

Dearest Kayne hatched less than a week ago, but he's already become a little terror. I could almost cry.
