[Upon reaching Azalea, Cecil did three things.

First, he admired the beauty of the snow-covered town, and let himself enjoy the peace and quiet, so different from the city that had housed him for over a week.

Second, he visited the local Gym, challenged its leader, and came out of it with a brand new badge and a very proud team.

Third, he reached the Pokémon Center and collapsed on the first couch he found, with his Pokémon spread all over him. Hey, he spent the last nine days walking in the snow, anyone would feel a little tired.

[Lydia frowns thoughtfully. 'I've seen a lot of babies on the network. Where did our trainers find so many eggs?'

Leviathan smiles. 'Both of our team are made up of six members! But ours says that if we get new ones, someone will have to stay in storage. I don't want to go there.']

<sub>[Bikini shakes her head. 'I have no idea. Noelle's egg just showed up on Christmas.'

Ronald looks horrified. 'St-Storage? No way! That's not gunna happen to me! I'm sure our Trainers wouldn't put us there unless it was for a really good reason.']</sub>

['So did Levia. My first duty was to help keep her warm.'

'That's why we're not getting new friends yet. Our trainer wants to find a way to keep us all together.']

Ronald seems to calm down a little, but he still doesn't look very happy. 'Yeah I guess. But having no new friends is boring. But...I guess it is sorta nice of them to do that for us. Bikini can be pretty nice...once in a while.]

['We'd snuggle in the same scarf during the day, and at night Flare would sleep right next to us. It was nice.'

'We can make new friends with Pokémon that already have trainers, then. That way, no one will have to go into storage. Only once in a while?']

'That's true!' And Ronald perks up again, tail wagging. 'Oh yeah. Bikini's pretty cool but because she's the oldest she acts like she knows everything.' He sticks his little pink tongue in Bikini's direction, but either she hadn't heard him or she is purposefully ignoring him. He pouts. 'Just 'cause I'm younger than she is doesn't mean I don't know stuff.']</sub>

['Yup! But if it had been summer, I would have pushed him away. That much fur is only nice during the winter.'

'Grown-ups can be like that, sometimes. Avenger likes to tease, and Rosie always acts like a mom. At least Esuna and Flare don't do that. But we all get along, when it comes down to it.']

['I bet they'll all be begging for some ice or snow within a week. We might have to shave them all~.'

'That's a very nice bowtie! My trainer only gave me an attack, but he lets me use his make-up and his accessories. He has lots of pretty colors!']

'Aw thanks! Me and Breeze are the only two that got 'em. I guess 'cause bow ties are for guys. Attacks are cool! I wish I had some more myself. Make-up?' Ronald looks curious. 'What sorta make-up is it?'</sub>

['My trainer wants to use Flare's future shed hair to make egg pillows. But it makes him look like a Rattata, perhaps he shouldn't.'

'Probably. I mean, they have 'tie' in their name. And he has all sorts of make-up, but I can only use stuff like the lipstick and the blush. I don't have nails for the nail polish, after all.']

<sub>['Egg pillows? That's a good idea, but maybe Flare's hair isn't the way to go. If you didn't shave him and just relied on his shed hair it would take a long time to finish even one pillow. Unless he sheds a lot.

'That's true! Hey, I never thought about that!' After the explanation about makeup, Ronald looks down at his paws. 'I sorta have nails. Does that mean I'm supposed to wear nail polish?']</sub>

[Lydia looks around furtively before whispering. 'Don't tell anyone, but our trainer bought a stone to make Flare evolve. They'll use it in a week or two. After that, Flare will have lots of fur to shed, and we'll make gigantic pillows!'

'Only if you want to, I think. I'm the only one in my team who wears some, except Rosie sometimes.']

['Our group trains a lot, except for Rosie and Levia. So we get a lot of experience, and we evolve quickly. Esuna even evolved twice!'

'We'd have to ask Rosie for help. It's hard to put on make-up without human fingers.']

['Training is hard, with everyone hiding from the snow... She evolved before Rosie and Avenger, even though she was caught after them. Avenger says it's because she's a Bug.'

'He is! He could find the best color for you, or something that won't get dirty if you run around. He found me waterproof make-up, so I can swim as much as I want.']

['It might be a while for all of us. We don't have any bugs in our group...I think I'll be the first to evolve unless Ronald gets a Fire Stone or Noelle finds a Oval Stone.' She looks pretty proud about that fact.

'Hey, that's pretty cool. Alright, guess I should ask him then.' He makes a face at the mention of swimming. "I don't get why you like swimming so much. Water is icky.'

'For Fire-types, maybe. But for Water-types, water is nice and friendly and comfy. Except it's all frozen right now.']

'Egh. Snow is almost as bad as water is! I can't wait for it to be summer.'

'Summer is great. It makes people want to visit the beach, and everyone can run or swim as they wish.']

['Alright! I'll give it a try. But, there aren't many wild Pokemon inside of Goldenrod. She'll have to start traveling again...'

'Isn't it? It's the best thing ever! And running's pretty cool too. It's hard to run with snow all over the place.']

['I bet there would be more if it was summer. Training would be way easier.'

'At least you have fur to keep you warm. Rosie can't walk much before getting frostbite, and Lydia is no better.']

['Probably. Most of us have to stay inside our Pokeballs when the snow gets too high.'

'That's true but...I'm not up to my full hight yet ya know?' Ronald looks embarrassed. 'And that snow can get...pretty tall too...'

['I'm surprised our trainer can walk with all of us hanging from his scarves, especially with his armor.'

'Yeah, but your fur is orange and black. Easy to see in the snow. Imagine if it was white.']
