8th moon [video/action for Violet???]

[The feed shows Sprout Tower. A very pixellated Sprout Tower. A very lopsided Sprout Tower. Almost as if the Pokégear was being held by a very limp hand.]

This is not quite what I expected when I decided to take a walk this morning.

Aerith, you might want to go to Goldenrod today. I believe it will save you some travelling time.

[Loli radar activate! He turns and sees Kisa.]

Miss Kisa? Thank goodness, you are unharmed!

[ bites her lip, nodding in response. He's okay... ]

[It's his first smile today, and man does it feel good.]

Well, it appears that the journey between Cherrygrove and Violet took less time than I thought it would. It seems to be a side effect of the squares. Wonderful for travelling, is it not?

[Operation 'Cheer up Kisa' is a-go?]

[ another nod, even as she wipes her eyes. He's being calm about this; she at least has to TRY. ]

[There, have his handkerchief. He'll do his best to be strong too.]

Do you think this would be a good time for ice cream? Wild Pokémon do not enter buildings, so we should be safe from the monsters there, right?

[ she half-wonders if the ice cream is going to be pixels too, but she nods trustingly and makes good use of that handkerchief. ]

[Hey, as long as it tastes like ice cream.]

Wonderful! Ice cream should make everything better. Where can we get some?

[ after a slow turn in a circle, she points in a certain direction-- at one of the block-like buildings in particular. ]

[Oh, good. It's close by. He bows elegantly.]

[ Kisa gives him a tiny, nervous smile, and breaks into a trot.

... She might be remarkably fast for a twelve-year-old. ]

Cecil makes sure to keep an eye out for the monsters on the way. With their Pokémon in their Pokéballs, every second counts during an attack.]

[ Thankfully, Kisa's managing to get them inside before any static-like things show up. After that, she immediately returns to his side. ]

[He puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder. See? No monsters here, and there's ice cream waiting!]

Finally, a safe and peaceful place. What sort of ice cream would you like to eat?

... [ they all look like colored blocks, sir. ]

...They should still have different flavors, right? That brown one looks like it might be chocolate.

[ And the pink one looks like strawberry. Kisa's examining these with interest. ]

The possible strawberry, then? How much would you like, and what type of sprinkles? ...If they still have sprinkles. Very little blocks, perhaps?

[ she's looking at one of the jars with the tiny rainbow blocks, tugging on his sleeve to indicate it. ]

Strawberry with rainbow sprinkles? That sounds tasty. Any other toppings? How many scoops would you like?

[ she holds up a finger-- and then blinks, remembering something. Give her a minute to reach into her pack. ]

What are you looking for?

[ this here pixelated egg, of course! She's not sure when the others want to head for Azalea, but she's sure it's going to be soon, and she doesn't want to forget to give him his puppy. ]

Ah, this is your Growlithe's egg? Don't worry, I'll take good care of it. I promise.

[He starts looking through his bag.]

Luckily, I caught a Pokémon for the trade before leaving Cherrygrove. We'll probably have to finalize it at the Pokémon Center, though. [He takes out a Pokéball, but stops.] Oh, that's right. Our Pokémon refuse to leave their balls right now. You won'T be able to see it unless you get in a fight, at least until the world goes back to normal.

[ and she'd rather not fight-- so she nods to show she understands, even as she examines the Pokéball with curiosity. ]

[He holds it out.] I hope you'll like it. It seemed quite suited to a young lady. Very elegant, too.
