As nearly always, every city is invaded by dozens of confused new arrivals, strange Legendaries party like it's 1999, innocent trainers and breeders wake up on the beach or in the middle of the Ice Cave, not-so innocent Rockets do the same, Cecil's house and yard are overtaken by thousands upon thousands of shiny and non-shiny Zubats...

...Wait, what?]

If anyone could help me chase these away before this world returns to normal, it'd be much appreciated!

At first, Ringabel is left speechless. His journal nearly drops from his grasp as he reels from the sheer horror. Granted, he's a seasoned adventure, and he's certain he'd be able to weather the storm. Likely Cecil did as well, as he's clearly still in one piece.

You have my deepest sympathy, and more importantly, my respect! No doubt it took an unbelievable level of raw determination in order to weather such grueling circumstances.

[This raises another question, though--]

Was there anything remotely edible, or did you have to endure an entire journey without sustenance?

I was lucky enough to meet dear Zidane along the way. Even all my determination would have been useless, if not combined with his desire to see the world beyond his home.

[The memory of his stay might be an unpleasant one, but he still manages a gentle smile when speaking of his Infernape.]

There was moss within the cave, and plants once we managed to reach the exit. Thankfully the water was clean and pure, more than fit for drinking.

I'm not surprised! There's something to be said for the purity of the elements, untouched by the hands of men. I've noticed a rather... metallic taste to the water within Goldenrod, which I suspect is a result of all its modern conveniences.

[He heaves a wistful sigh, cupping a hand over his chest.]

Perhaps I should pay a visit to this mountain. It's been far too long since I visited a proper dungeon.

Bottled water does not have that aftertaste, if you are willing to pay for it. But it's not practical if you cook often.

There are plenty of caves and forests for you to explore, if you miss sleeping surrounded by monsters. No underworld or accessible moon that I know of, but from most people's reactions it seems those are extremely uncommon in the first place.
