Would someone in the vicinity of Celadon kindly help us? This child wishes to face the new year as a grown Pokémon, and a temporary trade is necessary for that.

[The child in question being the Phantump snoozing on Cecil's lap when the video starts, a small smile on its face. Cecil himself is mostly out of view, with only a part of his torso and his hands petting the sleeping tree displayed.]

I would also like to invite anyone who wishes to accelerate their egg's hatching to visit my home. Between my Volcarona and my Chandelure, we can cut the necessary time by half, at the very least. And it's never too early for playdates.

[The Phantump chooses that moment to stir, earning a gentle unseen smile from Cecil as he turns the Pokégear off.]

For the newly-hatched eggs, of course. My new Vulpix will have no friends under level 50, and I've no doubt it'll also be the case for many others.

Well, it does greatly simplify the matter, and makes it easier for the Pokémon to change hands. I've never tried trading a Pokémon over the PC, if it's even possible.

Can't it go over the PC, like email? Not saying pokemon are letters or anything, but I figure if they can be stored in a PC like data, then they probably can get attached to emails?

Sending a Pokémon over such a large distance does leave one open to the risk that it might not be returned, however. ...Which is admittedly not truly a risk here, but it is in theory.

Email's exactly like mail. It's a letter but it's sent through computers and stuff.

I meant that an ill-intentioned trainer could easily offer to do the trade, but keep the Pokémon instead of sending it back.

[Why, that ill-intentioned trainer could even be a member of Team Rocket in disguise.]

In this case, there's obviously no danger of that. But offers of help are sadly not always sincere.

A most respectable name, with a long and admirable history. It'd fit a proper katana even better, but considering the rarity of weapons waiting to find one to use that name would hardly have been worth it.

Then again, I'd not have called a Pokémon Masamune myself, but that's only because that particular blade is not mine. When you have twenty named swords, why borrow a name from another?
