91st moon [the 4th Wall of Jericho]

[Ah, it's that time of the year again. And unlike last time, Cecil wakes up in his own bed (even though he'd been on his way back from Saffron when he fell asleep), surrounded by his own Pokémon (and Grimers, but at this point they're almost part of the family), and with his own belongings exactly where he left them (except for his left sock, but he's long learned to expect that).

He's safe, he's in a good mood, and he intends to stay that way for the rest of this madness. And this time, he's even in a position to share the joy with any visitors!

Which is why he's now grilling all sorts of food on a fire pit in his yard, while his Pokémon are bringing chairs and large cushions outside. That they manage to do so while linked to each other with duct tape is somewhat impressive, but he's too busy not burning a steak to admire their efficiency.]

[Minerva perks up upon hearing her name and tries to approach again, but she's interrupted by the arrival of sandwich number three.]

[...well you could probably ask your trainer for a sandwich too?]

[But that would involve more waiting! And possibly having to share with the others. Ever tried sharing a sandwich between 50+ Pokémon?]

[They tried it with a cake once. Smallest slice ever eaten for a birthday, definitely.]

[This is starting to sound like an excellent plan! ...But can her trainer even find that much bread and turkey?

[He'd probably have to bake something himself...]

[That would take so much flour... Good thing Longjing could bring it home from the store.]

...Goodness, cooking is more complicated than she ever thought it could be.]

[Not that the Susukodama would have any idea about that...

Enough meat for it would probably be slightly easier to come across, though.]

[The main problem with the meat would be stopping everyone from eating it before the sandwich is ready. Easier said than done.]

[...Then again, that would only be a disadvantage for her trainer, not for the rest of them. Even the Susukodama would get its share of the meat!]

[This is true! And does everyone really want bread? Some of the carnivores would probably be quite happy with just the meat...]

[Yeah! The bread holds the mustard for those who like it, sure, but licking the jar would work just as well.]
