[The feed shows a Cleffa, a Shuppet and a Metapod watching the thuderstorm from the safety of the Pokémon Center. Their trainer is nowhere to be seen. Until he speaks.]

Has anyone... read stories about people they've met here? People that are from different worlds, I mean.

[The Pokégear is picked up, and brought closer to the window.]

Or- Or maybe you started talking with someone, and you realized that your worlds had many details in common, too many for it to be a coincidence.

[The video is finally turned toward Cecil, who looks deeply thoughtful but somewhat hesitant. He opens his mouth but stops, before he finally decides to speak.]

I think... Maybe our worlds are all connected, somehow. Maybe there is a specific reason we were all... Forget this. I'm overthinking things.

[He ends the feed.]

[She'll be watching Cecil from the other side of the center holding two cups of hot chocolate. Why does ~~papa~~ Cecil look so upset? Well, she gets the hint when he says "Maybe our worlds are all connected".]

Cecil? Is everything okay?

[He turns toward Aerith, and even manages a slight smile.]

It's nothing, really. I was simply thinking about a few discussions I had earlier this week. They were... somewhat unsettling.

...? [ Kisa's more than a little confused by the questions, but also concerned by his expression, so have a slightly worried look. ]

[Light was listening in some as Cecil made his post, though his attention was not out the window, but more firmly on keeping the two of his pokemon from being to loud while they were in the PokeCenter.]

It is a reasonable thought. In order for us to be drawn from one world to another, there must be some connection between them. And we discovered in the Void that many similarities could be drawn between the worlds. Remember the summons?

[Oh dear. Can't frown in front of the nice young lady.]

Oh, hello, miss Kisa. Have you found the friend you were looking for?

...sorta. I mean, there's a lot of different worlds out there.

Actually, the summons were part of what brought these thoughts.

[He turns toward Light.]

A boy I talked to on the Gear. His world has Shiva, Bahamut, Odin and another Eidolon named Alexander. I think it might have been one of the summonstones, wasn't it? [He starts pacing.] He also mentioned places named after Ramuh and Leviathan... And his spells are the same as ours... This is no mere coincidence. Our worlds are linked somehow.

So many worlds out there, some so alike, some so different... Have you heard of similarities between yours and others', Roxas?

Quite possible, yes.

It is the only conclusion that we could reach. I would offer more information if I could, but all of us know of the Void. [He might seem just a bit troubled by that- he doesn't enjoy reminders about the fact that he's missing a past, after all.]

If only we had a way to find out more... I should have asked that young man what other worlds he has seen through those 'games'. An outsider's point of view could have been useful.

The Void... We all left it at the same time, and yet we all arrived here from different moments. There are only six of us here, and Cloud apparently has no memories of it... Could there be a link...?

...games? What do you mean?

Perhaps it is travel between worlds that causes memories to be lost. As for the different times we are taken from, I can think of no explanation for that, or why some of these differences are so drastic.

[There's a pause as Roxas fumbles for words. He been to a lot of worlds]

Sometimes, yeah. I lived in a lo- a pretty quiet town so I guess some people can relate.

His world has a way of looking at other worlds through a screen, as if they were reading a novel about them. And he saw mine. He knew who I was before I'd introduced myself. He knew what had happened to me in my youth. [Even the parts Cecil had not shared with his comrades. Even the parts he would have liked to change.]

It might also cause them to be regained. ...To be honest, during the last seventeen years, my memories of the Conflict were mostly lost. It was only when I saw you all again that I truly remembered. And as far as I am aware, the same applies to my brother.

[That was a bit suspicious, but Cecil doesn't pry. Everyone has things they don't want to talk about.]

A quiet town? I wish I could relate to that. It sounds much more peaceful than my kingdom. Do they have great accomodations for tourists? [Not that he could actually visit, but still.]

They were able to observe other worlds... [It is both concerning, and an opportunity.] Then they spent such a long time observing, that they knew what had happened during the majority of your life?

It is a dangerous balance, then.

[ she brightens and nods immediately. ]

[He shakes his head.] Apparently, they can only see a certain part of the worlds' timeline. The period he saw was when my friends and I saved our world, but he was not aware that I had a son a few months later. It seems their power has a limit.

But could this balance be manipulated?

Such an interesting theory you seem to have. I think I'd like to know more!

[Oh thank goodness.]

Did they come to get you in that wooden place, or did you manage to leave behind the monks' back?

I am afraid my theory isn't much more advanced than that. I only know of a few connected worlds. That is why I was hoping for more examples. Have you heard of anyone else's world before coming here, sir?

If it is being controlled by someone, then very likely. The Warriors of Chaos would not be against manipulating such a thing.

Why? Are there problems?

I think so. It's been a while since I was there.

Connected as in that some people seem to be works of fiction in other worlds? Even that much is still very interesting - though I can't say I recognize too many faces. Then again, I'm not a fan of fiction! [No, he's not all that willing to give up any information... yet.]

Well, save for this world, at least.

Connected as in that. Connected as in communication is possible between them. Connected as in they share myths or magical concepts that do not appear elsewhere. It seems that links between worlds can take many shapes.

Had you heard of this world before? You would not be the first, from what I saw.

It is interesting just how possible that may be, isn't it? Unfortunately, there's only one truly familiar face, and he's just a nuisance anyway. Really, quite a bit of trouble that ends up being.

I have, yes. Some others I spoke to seemed to recall it being the same... so I'd think maybe, just maybe, that's all connected to your theory! We have a mystery on our hands!
