[The feed shows a Cleffa, a Shuppet and a Metapod watching the thuderstorm from the safety of the Pokémon Center. Their trainer is nowhere to be seen. Until he speaks.]

Has anyone... read stories about people they've met here? People that are from different worlds, I mean.

[The Pokégear is picked up, and brought closer to the window.]

Or- Or maybe you started talking with someone, and you realized that your worlds had many details in common, too many for it to be a coincidence.

[The video is finally turned toward Cecil, who looks deeply thoughtful but somewhat hesitant. He opens his mouth but stops, before he finally decides to speak.]

I think... Maybe our worlds are all connected, somehow. Maybe there is a specific reason we were all... Forget this. I'm overthinking things.

Like meeting a character from a fairy tale?

... no, not yet. Has that happened to you?

Apparently, I am the character. A young man mentioned a game that let him see part of my world.

Who would say something like that?

He arrived here a few days ago. I'm afraid I forgot to ask his name. But he also knew much about this world. From what I understand, the people in his land can see what happens in other worlds, and they write it down like novels.

-- like psychics?!

I'm not certain. He did mention that his world has no magic.

If it has no magic, then how can it see you and make a story about you?

Extremely advanced technology, perhaps?

I don't know, I think it'd be really weird to find out I'm a storybook character in another world!

It is. At least he doesn't seem the type to use what he knows against me.

That'd be very cruel.

Which is why I was asking about other people's experiences. It might be good to know who has that kind of knowledge.

Especially if someone who would use it cruelly has it.

Few people have answered my question. It might mean that no one else is in this situation, but it might also mean that people are keeping the information to themselves for some reason. I am not certain this is a good sign.

I can say that I'm not in that situation.

Well, who knows? You might wake up next week and have a long discussion with your favorite fairytale character, freshly arrived in this world. Just make sure not to scare them too badly.

If that happens, I'll be sure to be polite about it.

...And don't mention their love life. It's a bit disturbing when a stranger... [Yep.]
