[The feed shows a Cleffa, a Shuppet and a Metapod watching the thuderstorm from the safety of the Pokémon Center. Their trainer is nowhere to be seen. Until he speaks.]

Has anyone... read stories about people they've met here? People that are from different worlds, I mean.

[The Pokégear is picked up, and brought closer to the window.]

Or- Or maybe you started talking with someone, and you realized that your worlds had many details in common, too many for it to be a coincidence.

[The video is finally turned toward Cecil, who looks deeply thoughtful but somewhat hesitant. He opens his mouth but stops, before he finally decides to speak.]

I think... Maybe our worlds are all connected, somehow. Maybe there is a specific reason we were all... Forget this. I'm overthinking things.

From what I heard, there are some differences between the locations people were familiar with and the ones present in Johto. Have you also observed this disrepancy? [He sighs slightly.] Hopefully this mystery has an answer we can reach.

Eh. It's only a matter of time before he gets crushed by an Onix!

I can't say I was familiar enough with the entirety of the setting, but it is different! Although I have seen quite a few similarities since I've arrived~ So it's difficult to say... though I intend on looking further into it, myself.

That sounds rather painful.

The different cities could be explained by the passage of time or by different continents, but I am not familiar enough with the rest of it to theorize more. I hope you'll be more successful.

Fortunately, it's not my problem!

I'd imagine it's probably a much bigger world. I suppose the natives are of no help then?

Sadly. I spoke to a man who is supposedly a great researcher, but he only talked about Professor Oak's greatness. If their greatest minds have so little to say, I fear we will not learn much from them.

[Professor Oak is a familiar name - and maybe a link, but he doesn't seem to say anything of that.]

It must be against their... nature to bring something like that up. Maybe further along the way, there will be more clues!

But how much further? I have not heard of anyone who has gone beyond Goldenrod, and there are many more cities on the map.

I guess we'll all have to get a move-on and find out!

For some reason, people find it hard to simply walk forward without stopping. Everyone ends up backtracking at least once. It slows down our progress.

People have this inherent ability to want to go back to get the things they've missed... or the people. Quite troublesome in a group, though it's much easier if you travel alone, yes?

It might make things easier, but it sounds rather lonely. Having a second opinion or someone to talk to can be good, too.

Only if you let it. I seem to get by just fine on my own, meeting people along the way~ [Of course, he is a well-conditioned sociopath...] I know that's not for everyone, though!

...If I left my travel companions, someone would probably end up with a black eye. Or strangled by a plant. [~~Especially with the two new canonmates that are coming.~~]

It sounds rather unfortunate for them. Though I suppose every group needs someone to lead~
