4th moon (accidental video/action)

[The view from the Pokégear is askew, as if it had been dropped on a bag in a hurry. The image is dark and a bit foggy, but sufficient staring reveals Cleffa, frowning, deeply engaged in-

-a staring contest with a Shuppet?

It is a test of wills. Only the winner will show itself worthy of being the greatest of all Pokémon. The tension is nearly palpable. Cleffa stares! Shuppet stares back!

And neither of them pay any attention to Cecil, who is sneaking up behind Shuppet. With a pokéball. He stops, he takes a deep breath, he stretches, he aims, he swings, he throws-]

Dammit!

[-and he misses by a large margin, hitting the Pokégear and interrupting the feed.]


((ooc: Don't worry, Cecil will catch that Shuppet! ...On the third try.

It's a game! You... well, you throw stuff. And run around in a square. And then a guy in a shirt with stripes yells at the guys in the black.

I wonder if they play this game in this world. Their lives seem very Pokémon-oriented.

I wonder what they do play, here? [Then, reminded of Gassy and his kin:] Besides tricks.

Some of the Plant pokémon have vines. Perhaps they use them as jump ropes?

But if someone trips, wouldn't it hurt?

...Right, that could be painful for the pokémon.

Maybe they have races?

But what if they're slow?

There's always playing dress up.

...But that only works for girls. And too many pokémon wouldn't fit even in adult clothes.

Hide and seek?

[Cecil is now really starting to wonder what people do in this world.]

But if they're really big, they can't hide.

And those invisible ghosts would have an unfair advantage.

...They couldn't go swimming with Fire pokémon. Maybe they go camping?

That might work! They could make sure the campfire stays alive.

And if you have a good tent, the rain isn't too much of a problem unless there's a storm.
