If it's no trouble, I'd like to hear about everyone's experiences with real estate in this world, especially when it comes to larger homes in Kanto. ...No, forget that, stories from any world or dimension would do. I've never had the opportunity to choose a house before, and I wish to know what to look out for.

[He sounds altogether too cheerful at the thought of inspecting houses for potential latent defects.]

I also wish to temporarily trade two of my Pokémon, as they are both more than ready to evolve. Could anyone around Celadon help me with that? I'd appreciate it.

There is that. It's a shame, too; that little Snover-decorating activity we had during the first Christmas people spent here was pleasant.

Snover decorating activity? [ Lust has been here for a while, but she doesn't recall this at all. ] Hmm, just how long have you been here? [ She might have found the best thing ever, or the best thing ever. Not quite sure yet. ]

Two years and almost five months. I'm far from the earliest arrival, but it's still been quite the long stay.

I believe that might just be within the top five longest stays in Johto currently. How do you pass the time without managing to succumb to boredom?

Not nearly. I can think of quite a few people who've been here longer.

[But that number lessens with every month that passes.]

I train my team, I work at the Department Store. I've even learned how to sew and cook by myself.

Mind giving me a list of names then? For references?

[ If she can find someone from the very first week... that's a bingo. ]

That's mildly impressive. Sewing is no small task. [ Too bad she never really needed to wear other clothes until now... ] Cooking is even more difficult, but I've mastered that skill before coming here. One of my friends has a particularly voracious appetite. [ And absolutely 0 self control. ]

Riku, Hayate, Kaito even if he left for a few months, Ro- well, not anymore, he disappeared some time ago...

That must be the best reason to learn how to cook. I only tried because Noelle produces eggs daily, and frying them became tiresome rather quickly.

Hmm... it's not the best reason. Self interest is always the best reason. However, making culinary arts a necessity so they do not eat furniture is a valid second.

That sounds extremely unhealthy. I hope his quality of life was not too badly affected by it.

I have to admit, I've been hesitant to get close to people in case they start to vanish. My travel partners have actually been sent home recently too, which just tends to reinforce my idea to keep things at a distance. [ A partial lie, because Lust has no feelings but whatever. ]

His quality of life isn't badly affected by it. He has the stomach and the tastebuds for it. I guess it takes all types.

...That's a shame. Meeting people we could never have known otherwise is one of the best aspects of this world, I find.

I must admit that sounds... impressive. Though if he's been affected for a long time, it makes sense that his body would have adapted itself.

I enjoy meeting people and interacting with them. I thoroughly enjoy that aspect, I just prefer not to get attached. That never tends to end well. [ There's a convincing, rough enough sadness to her voice. ]

His body has always been like that. It's almost like an entirely different void. [ because it is. ]

If that is your choice, so be it. Though getting attached is not always a choice.

I do hope that does not mean he'd be the type to try and eat Pokémon if he found himself here.

I understand. But, attachments are avoided with a clarity of the mind. [ And she's very clear minded because she lacks feelings. ]

He was. [ Sigh. ] I quickly convinced him it wasn't for the best, however.

...Goodness. I do hope his Pokémon did not hold the incident against him too much.

Well, one he simply could not eat, and the other he simply gave to me to hold onto. All of his pokémon are under my care now and I believe they prefer me.

...I almost feel bad saying it, but they must feel much safer with you as their trainer.

They only felt unsafe when they were alone with their trainer. When I was with him, I made sure to remind him not to eat his pokémon and that they weren't edible. My strict parenting of him made his pokémon much more relaxed and efficient.

I do hope this means that you arrived here before him. Otherwise, I've no doubt the situation would have been very stressful to everyone involved.

Yes. I was here before him, and he left after two months. As a result, I've inherited his pokémon. One of which, was, ironically, a Munchlax.

...Let me guess. That was his starter Pokémon.

[Johto, you have such a sense of humor.]

No, it was not. His starter was Lickitung, which makes the acquirement of a Munchlax even more interesting. [ HAHAHA. She sometimes loves Johto. ]

...I have to admit that I actually find this surprising.
