Could that be the start of a pattern, somehow? It makes me wonder what our mysterious gift-giver is thinking.

Last time was a Feebas. I hope this surprise will be just as nice.

I like Normal-types! That's what my starter is, she's a Skitty.

Their versatility is quite wonderful, I must say. Does she learn interesting attacks?

Just Normal-type attacks on her own. But I think I can get her TMs here in Celadon.

Undoubtedly. I saw a few very interesting ones the other day, though I've no idea which ones she could learn.

Well... I'll just have to buy TMs for all of them! I only have three Pokemon right now, my other two haven't hatched yet.

TMs are the main reason you might ever need money in large quantities here, other than Christmas. Lucky, both the stores and the Pokémon Center pay well.
