Truly. You'd think a good battle would have left them energized. I think the lack of talented opponents made them lazy.

That's another badge earned, and four possible paths to follow. It's nicer than having to follow a predetermined route, I must admit.

I believe I'll walk, for now. Four cities seem rather close; it'd be a shame not to enjoy the journey.

Mm, yeah! I'm planning to do the same once I start to travel... It just seems wrong to not enjoy the journey that way, after how I traveled around the majority of Johto.

Not to mention there's always the flight option if something goes wrong...

And plenty of longer roads that we might wish to shorten if needed. Why should we waste the smaller distances?

Right! It's important to enjoy the journey as it was meant to be~ Besides, I wouldn't entirely trust myself to fly from point A to point B without knowing where I was going...

I had to try, after the latest wave of teleportations. It was confusing, to say the least.

I think I've lucked out and never been whisked away by one of those... Though I have heard my fair share of horror stories regarding that. Mainly involving the Ice Path.

The ever popular Ice Path. Mt. Moon was not quite as dangerous, but those caves looked rather confusing at best, and the weather did not look promising.

It kind of feels like the Ice Path is some kind of cruel trick or punishment when you end up there...

Though with Kanto opened up... There might be somewhere even worse out there. I'm glad that Mt. Moon isn't that bad though...

It's a mountain, yet it is not teeming with undead creatures. Anyone from my world would consider it mild.

So... No ghost-types then? *ha ha ha*

Clefairies, Sandshrews, Zubats and Geodudes, mostly.

... that's a very normal cave setup...

...Actually, that was my first time seeing wild Clefairies.

... ... now that you mention it... The only time I've seen them is in the Safari Zone...

They do seem to be related to the moon, but why the Safari Zone, then?

... a lot of the things in the Safari Zone seemed to be out of place. It was like a mish mash of everything...

Perhaps the Safari Zone Pokémon were deliberately brought there by someone, and their population grew?

--oh! Like a nature perverse. That'd explain it be called the Safari Zone...

Though it doesn't make much sense they would let you catch stuff there... But I can't complain, since my Clefairy came from there...

It could be that their population grew too much. Did the conditions seem ideal for Pokémon in general?

Ah... Now that I think about it, it seemed sort of custom built to accommodate practically any kind of Pokemon...

It must have been deliberate, in that case.

Yeah... It did have that feel to it... Especially with how it was all set up. I just didn't put much thought into how out of place some of them seemed...

Which means they do have some sort of tourism industry after all.

Maybe we can book a flight home someday...?
