A year, to the day. That's more than acceptable for the first part of an adventure. Or perhaps I should say that obtaining this last badge is an excellent way to celebrate my first year in this world?

That's a good defensive combination. Does he know attacks of many types?

Not really. They're all pretty much the same.

It's a shame. No one would expect and Electric- or Ice-type attack from him. That could give you the advantage.

They can be extremely helpful, as most of their attacks are different from the TMs.

Now that I think of it, I should should you my bouncing Gyarados, one of these days. It's definitely an interesting attack.

He needed an attack that would take advantage of his partial Flying-type. There were no other choices.

It's the only one that would work?

He learns none naturally, and the Flying-type TMs available in Goldenrod do not work on him.

That's really weird. But he's part flying type.

Types sometimes feel arbitrary. Were it not for the power of certain attacks, I'd forget about Seifer's Flying-type or Klu's Psychic-type easily.
