[Most people, when visiting Olivine, go right for the Gym or right for the beach. After all, the city is an important step for all trainers, and the sun is shining beautifully upon the sea. Most people would wish to enjoy it.

But Cecil is not most people at the moment, which is why he can be found walking around Olivine's more residential neighborhoods, Clefable and Heracross in tow. He probably even looks pretty suspicious, considering he's staring at every single house for a few seconds before moving on.

...It's rather hard to help with construction work when you don't even know where your friend's house is, you see.]

[While she's traveling through town, she notices the little actions Cecil is taking. Curious, she heads for him, right behind him, and taps him on the shoulder.]

Excuse me? Do you need some help?

[Even after having his shoulder unexpectedly tapped from behind, Cecil seems perfectly composed. ...Which could be because Osmose jumped in surprise in his stead.]

Ah, I do, actually. Are you familiar with the trainers currently staying in Olivine? I'm looking for one of them.

I'm currently looking for Leon. He's rather tall, with brown hair and blue eyes, and he has a diagonal scar on his face. He has a house in the city, but...

You can't see it behind the fence but they've got one of those big horned devildog things. I've seen 'em walking it.

[Still staring at the house, but he does trying to peek over the fence now.]

A Houndoom? It'd be no trouble. Rosie knows Water Pulse and I've no doubt her level is higher.

[A beat. He's starting to realize what that sounds like.]

Not that I'd rob another world's residences. I doubt they have any interesting weapons hidden away.

_{[Yep. It sounds pretty bad-- which makes Heather smirk and sloooowly raise an eyebrow as he talks, draping the hand with the popsicle stick in it casually over one knee.]}

So if burglary's not on your mind, what're you doing? Are you a real estate agent or something?

[If it wasn't for the circumstances, that lack of belief would almost hurt him.]

A volunteer bathroom tiler, actually. A friend of mine asked for help renovating a house, but he sadly forgot to give me its address and none of these-

[He waves a hand towards the rows of houses.]

His name is Leon, and he only said that the house is in Olivine. I think it might be relatively close to the beach, but even that is not certain. I could always ask my Arcanine to try and find his sister, but I fear he'd run through a few fences on the way.

Hm... no way you can like... call him or anything?

I'd not want to bother everyone on the network simply because I cannot find him.

[He's been here for nearly a year, and the only Pokégear function he knows is the video option, the poor thing.]

[ Leon is working, and otherwise preoccupied, so sadly he isn't in any position to help poor Cecil. Leon does have an eye in the sky, not that he's always aware of it. Skarmory likes to spend time outside of her ball, and the complicit trust she's built with her boss means that she gets to roam.

She sees Cecil's bright white hair and instantly recognizes it from the innumerable times Boss has spoken to him over the communicator. She dives easily, curving around Cecil and bringing herself to a stop a few paces away. She caws at him cheerfully, a terrible sawblade sound, before moving forward to demand throat scratches. ]

[Cecil must have built up a resistance to Skarmory cries somehow, because it gets a small smile out of him instead of a wince. He walks up to her to offer the desired throat scritches, along with a few berries plucked from his bag.]

My, what a wonderful welcoming committee. Are you well? I don't suppose your trainer is within walking distance, is he?

[He'd better be, because the presence of a Flying-type is making Osmose slightly uneasy.]

[ His fingers at her throat make her coo. Cecil is saying an awful lot of words--for Skarmory, who's used to Leon's slow, matter-of-fact tone, it's a little overwhelming. She does definitely recognize 'walk' and 'trainer', and bobs her head. But flying would be so much faster! She turns to present her back, spreading her wings. hop on! ]

[He recalls Rosie and Osmose before carefully climbing on her back, staying far away from the base of her wings. Isn't it nice, having a rider who knows exactly what to do or not do?]

[ It is indeed nice! She chirrups in appreciation. He should give Boss lessons.

--and on that note, she takes off, reaching for the sky in one great leap and some mighty wingbeats. The view is great from up here, if nothing else! ]

[Nice is a very weak word for it, in his opinion. Cecil's eyes sweep over the endless scenery, even as he absentmindedly pats Skarmory's head. Ah, the feeling of the wind in his air, almost as if he was piloting an airship once more...]

[ Skarmory banks, curving back towards the beach. It is a beach house, after all. A few minutes' flight later they're alighting on the sand, Skarmory's claws digging in easily to halt them. They're close to a large, two-story house built right up against the beach, with a deck and stairs connecting both deck and back entrance to the sand. The exterior is rather old, but the deck is new...it's obviously been under extensive renovation.

Skarmory rushes ahead, her claws not even registering on the uber-varnished steps of the deck. Follow after her? ]

[Follow he does, though he does so slowly. It's the first time he sees that type of housing, after all, and his curiosity about other worlds extends to architecture. He also takes the time to let Rosie out of her pokéball once more; she's much quicker about following than he is, practically bounding after Skarmory.]
