[Most people, when visiting Olivine, go right for the Gym or right for the beach. After all, the city is an important step for all trainers, and the sun is shining beautifully upon the sea. Most people would wish to enjoy it.

But Cecil is not most people at the moment, which is why he can be found walking around Olivine's more residential neighborhoods, Clefable and Heracross in tow. He probably even looks pretty suspicious, considering he's staring at every single house for a few seconds before moving on.

...It's rather hard to help with construction work when you don't even know where your friend's house is, you see.]

[While she's traveling through town, she notices the little actions Cecil is taking. Curious, she heads for him, right behind him, and taps him on the shoulder.]

Excuse me? Do you need some help?

[Even after having his shoulder unexpectedly tapped from behind, Cecil seems perfectly composed. ...Which could be because Osmose jumped in surprise in his stead.]

Ah, I do, actually. Are you familiar with the trainers currently staying in Olivine? I'm looking for one of them.

I know some of them. What is their name? What do they look like?

I'm currently looking for Leon. He's rather tall, with brown hair and blue eyes, and he has a diagonal scar on his face. He has a house in the city, but...

[He gestures around. That is a lot of houses to check.]

Leon! Of course I know him! He's my dear friend, and he's helping me build my happy home!

[That gets a smile out of him.]

That sounds like Leon indeed. Is he well? What about the rest of his team?

He's very well, and his team is fine. You're welcome to stay with us... any friend of his is a friend of mine.

[she curtsies.]

Thank you for you kindness, but my ...friend and I are staying are staying at the inn. We could not impose on you.

[He bows elegantly. So does Rosie the Clefable, though Osmose mostly looks confused.]

It's a pleasure to meet you too, Cecil. At least let me show you where Leon will be working, so you know where to find him most of the time.

Thank you. It'll make helping him much simpler than if I had to look for him every day.

[She begins to walk, expecting him to follow.]

We're almost done. it'll probably be all ready by next month... a darling home where our friends can stay for free, for as long as they'd like.

[Follow he does, trailed by his Pokémon.]

I'm afraid I'll only be staying to help for a few days, but I promise I'll help you as much as I can during that time. I can take care of the heavy lifting, if nothing else.

Even a little can do a lot. I appreciate anything you can do, and I know Leon will too.

He did speak of bathroom tiling. That should be manageable within a few days, unless your bathroom is particularly luxurious.

What this world considers "bare necessities" is rather advanced, compared to what my world is used to.

Really? Oh my... Being here must be very surprising for you.

It was, at first, but I've had more than enough time to become used to it. I was lucky enough to receive a Pokémon who knew how to work the Pokégear, too.

[behind him, Rosie beams with pride.]

[she glances back to look at the Pokemon.]

Sounds like you've got a very smart team... and a cute one too~!

[Now it's Cecil's turn to beam with pride.]

All of them are both strong and smart, no matter what their age or origin is. I'd never have gotten this far in this world without them.

Pokemon are really amazing creatures. I'm so happy we get to be alongside them.

That's the main advantage of Johto. My world has Eidolons that can be summoned during battles, but they stay in their own, isolated lands when not called upon.

... Do they get lonely?

I doubt it. They've built a whole village there, with homes and shops and a rather impressive library. They always seem quite surprised when they receive visitors.

Oh, what a relief!
