1st moon (video/action for New Bark Town)

Graaah...

[See Cecil. See Cecil stare blankly at the Pokégear. See Cleffa perched on his shoulders, nibbling on a berry.]

Where...

[The poor, confused zombie? man looks around, seeming rather lost. He does make sure to keep Cleffa stable, though.]

...Ceo.......dore?...

[And now he’s back to staring at the Pokégear. Is it merely because he found it in his pocket? Or does he somehow realize, even in his state, that he can use it to communicate?]

Aaaah...

[...Well, he’s certainly making an effort, at any rate.]

[He follows Cecil's fingers with his eyes, frowning thoughtfully.]

You mean to say that someone wants to meet you halfway?

[Strange things could happen. After all, both he and Larxene were suffering from a terminal case of Keyblade-to-the-face just moments before, and yet she was here too, somewhere. It wouldn't hurt to meet with other lost souls, at least until he got his feet firmly settled on the ground.]

[He glances over at the Cleffa thoughtfully.]

It would seem rather strange that someone would give us pets to look after...

[Marluxia gestures to his back, the source of the snoring.]

Then I may be doomed. Mine decided to hide in the shade within my hair, and...

[The oddish snores again, almost on cue.]

[Looking ahead to the road, Marluxia moves forward with no hesitation. New places had never made him uneasy, and why should this be any different? If he were anxious about anything, it was meeting Cecil's "ally" in hopes of starting a new network. It never hurt to have allies at your back if the Organization decided to come look for him.]

[He glances at the creature hanging onto Cecil's shoulder.]

Perhaps we're just beasts of burden to them.

[He smiles, playing so well at being normal.]

[Marluxia seems a bit relieved that his companion is coming around. They might just have a normal conversation yet!]

[He wrinkles his nose at the Rattata as it crawls out of the grass, squeaking shrilly, letting them know it was on the offensive.]

What an offensively garish creature.

[Oddish also seems interested in fighting the creature. Crawling out from its perch, it ran as fast as it could on its stubby legs, before looking back to Marluxia for commands.]

I think they want to fight it.

[Oddish still looks back to Marluxia while he muses. It's just a rat, after all. He finally pulls out his 'gear and looks at it.]

Absorb attack.

[and as if that was what it had been waiting for, Oddish gleefully pulled a green glowing sphere of light from his attacker, drawing it into itherself.]

[Marluxia picked his Oddish off the ground after the Rattata had fainted, placing the yawning creature into his hood again to relax.]

Did something spark your interest?

[he quirks a brow slightly.]

I understand magic... but... are you saying you think the creatures are Eidolons?

[He nods, understanding that much. He had seen some on Sora's cards, after all.]

Perhaps that's what these are for? [He holds up his pokéball.]

Hm. It must be unpleasant inside, given your little companion's reaction to it.

[He thinks better of forcing Oddish (Linden, he's decided by now), back into the ball, since it causes no harm in his hood.]
