With the new additions to Goldenrod's catalog, I thought shopping might be a good idea, and it appears my Pokémon agree. Will anyone need something from that list? Some of those items can be rather expensive for newcomers, especially if you've not yet found work. As long as you tell me where you are, I can ask the store to post it to you.

Goldenrod does seem to be more well-equiped than the rest of Johto, in general. That this would also apply to the kitchens makes sense.

At this point I think, this is Johto's capital. Since this is the only real city sized area they seemed to have.

Yet it seems to have no administrative buildings. Certainly there must be a government in place somewhere?

I don't think they have a government in place, the only thing indicating anything government related is the police.

I've heard how effective they are.

I think everyone has heard, by now. If they accurately represent the ruling class, we might be better off not seeing them.

Well this is a peaceful place, most of the time. Heck Team rocket doesn't really do much either.

Actually the only way they doing anything remotely bad is when non-locals are helping them.

Yet they must have existed before we arrived. I truly doubt a criminal organization managed to spring up from nothing simply because of a few newcomers.

That's true as well, do you think that the police force was only made in response to Team Rocket.

In response to people who mistreat their Pokémon seems more likely. They appear to do very little to fight Team Rocket.

Mistreating Pokémon and making anything remotely like a weapon.

They do not consider frying pans weapons, at least.

I'm surprised that cooking knives aren't considered weapons.

Maybe they were, and the local chefs petitioned against it?
