[On the bed, a man is sleeping. On the floor next to him, so is an Arcanine. And next to that Arcanine, eggs. Eleven of them, carefully placed on Cecil's homemade egg pillows.]

It appears my Pokémon have been enjoying their babysitter's sleep. As you can see, a few of them had a number of presents to give me when I returned to Ecruteak.

[The cameraman approaches the eggs, giving everyone watching a good view of the pile.]

Eight Milotic eggs, one Eevee egg, one Dratini egg, and one Shuppet egg. I can sell them for P1000 or trade them for other eggs, depending on your wishes. I'll send them to you as soon as possible, but with all those bugs attacking people outside, I have no doubt we can all agree to wait a few days. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Well, if it helps...you make a great grandfather. Not many children can say how their grandfather can still play games with them.

Oh, I'm plenty young enough to keep up with the little ones. It might be harder at ninety, however.

I don't think you're anywhere near ninety, Cecil. You still have plenty of time to have kids and grandchildren.

Do you and Rosa have any children together?

Our son, Ceodore. Seventeen already, and strong enough to survive anything the world might throw at him. Everyone has great hopes for him.

He sounds like he has a lot of potential. You must be very proud of him, right?

I am. He's proven himself to be reliable and fair, even during hard times. Baron will grow beautiful under his rule.

It will! Ceodore sounds he'll be a great King in the future. I wish him the best of luck.

[She smiles happily.]

Do you two get along well?

We do. Of course, there are points on which children and parents will always disagree, but otherwise we get along.

[As long as no one is brainwashed or busy angsting.]

That's good. It must be nice to have both parents around.

[She can't help lower her head a bit. Sometimes it was hard not to think about her own parents. Quickly, she looks up with a force smile on her lips.]

Does your wife spoil him silly sometimes?

It must be, yes. He and Ursula are quite lucky to have that.

[Orphans, orphans everywhere!]

We both try not to spoil him too much, but Rosa tends to be slightly overprotective of him. She was quite worried when he left for his Knight's Trial.

They are. It's tough not having them around...unless you're lucky enought to get adopted.

[She can't help giggle a bit.]

I can just imagine it. He's really lucky. Did you grow up with your parents, as well, Cecil?

...I've not had that chance, sadly.

...It's fine. It happened many decades ago, and His Majesty raised me as his own for many years. It merely helps me appreciate the chance my own son has.
