[Cecil's bedroom is currently extremely chaotic. Of course, any bedroom would be considered chaotic, if its contents were being packed up in a hurry by five Pokémon. Why isn't Cecil taking care of it himself, you ask? Because he's busy wrapping a Dratini egg in enough scarves to keep it warm in a blizzard.]

Everyone, I'm returning to Cherrygrove to meet up with Edward. If anyone has any deliveries to make in Violet or Cherrygrove, I can take care of them. I will also welcome any travelling partner.

[He almost turns off the Pokégear, but pauses. When he speaks, his voice sounds uncertain, hesitant.]

...Light. Bartz. Zidane. Squall. Do you think... Do you remember... [He shakes his head.] Nevermind. It's not important.

I think I'll keep in contact with them both. It might help me put some order in my memories.

A friend of mine, Edward. He's a good ally, both in and out of battle. However, we are currently having some... timeline disrepancies.

Yeah, I can see how that'll be a problem.

I'll have to carefully edit some of my explanations, or else I might cause him important emotional distress. And some of the subsequent events will be hard for him to believe, even if they are not harmful in nature.

How did you deal with the timeline difference?

Well...very gently. I don't know if we ever really did fully explain what had happened, though.

Edward is used to the serious, determined dark knight who marches on no matter what. I think he'll be rather confused by the gentleness, to say the least.
