5th moon (action)
[Are you currently travelling on route 30? If you are, maybe you have seen a white-haired man in his thirties following the road, accompanied by a Cleffa and a Shuppet. Or perhaps you've seen the three of them searching for something through a patch of grass. Looking behind every single tree the route contains. Staring at the pond with unconcealed dread. Trying to climb the ledges, right after jumping down. Attempting to interrogate the locals.
Do you stop to ask what's going on? Or do you quickly walk away, hoping the crazy isn't contagious?]

Oh! I hope you don't tell your son about Squall then. Last thing we need is your son getting jealous of him. [She smiles happily.] Not sure what Squall will say if he only knew.
Cosmos? Goddess of...oh! Is Warrior of Light one of the people who fought alongside you and Squall? I remember he told me something about that... [She's trying to remember.] He was mostly talking about Cosmos. [She continues to look at him curiously.] I bet you guys won the fight against Chaos. Right?
Yeah. It would be weird of Squall going backwards. He was surprised when I told him I was heading to Cherrgrove City from Violet. [And when Cecil mentioned a cave, that will ping her the most.] Actually...Cecil, you might be right! I told Squall a few days ago about the Dark Cave on Route 31. I wanted to explore the cave and invited him to come with me! He promised he would. [She turns towards the road she was on.] The Dark Cave could be one of the few places he could be hiding at because there isn't anything else on this route except that.
[The Chansey will cover her lips in surprise.
"Really? Your trainer's friend went missing too? That's horrible! Why are the humans disappearing now?"]
[Action]
He'll probably complain against old comrades sticking their noses where they shouldn't. He doesn't seem the type to accept a grounding easily.
He is indeed. He was somewhat our leader back then, and he was the most devoted to Cosmos. I'm not surprised he mentioned her. [He takes on a faraway look.] We did, and yet somtimes, I think I remember... [He doesn't finish his sentence
because Duodecim isn't out yet.]The Dark Cave? Such a friendly name. They must get a lot of tourists. [Says the guy who lives near a place called the Devil's Road.] But Squall keeps his promises. If he decided to go there, why didn't he ask you to meet him?
["I don't know. But his Cyndaquil was in tears! I felt so bad for him."]
[Action]
Hmm. [She'll think about his words and somehow shake her head.] I've only met Squall recently, but...something tells me he won't really get mad. Squall doesn't seem like the type to express himself freely. It's almost like...he keeps his feelings to himself. It's true he's blunt, but...he usually keeps his real thoughts to himself. He reminds me of a friend back home who's like that.
[She'll stay quiet and listen to him talk about the conflict a bit.] But you still won. That is what really matters, isn't it?
[She'll be giving him a nervous smile.] Maybe, but I hear the tourists get lost rather easily in there. [At the question, somehow it kinda hurt her a bit which was kinda odd to feel. She looked down sadly trying to find a reason too.] I don't know. Maybe...that promise didn't count for him... [Or maybe he didn't look at her as a friend, but as a nuisance instead. Now she wasn't feel very good, but she shook her head quickly. This isn't about her. It's about Squall.]
But it doesn't matter! The important thing is to find him, so...let's head to the cave. Maybe it would be a good idea to call his other friends and pass on the message.
[Wait! That's the pokemon I spoke to a few days ago. Was he trapped in a room with Gyradoes?]
[Action]
[His face saddens.] ...That might be why he was so affected by those nightmares. If you keep too much inside, after a while it has to get out. Those ghosts used that against him, and because of that, now he's... [God knows where. Missing. Running away.]
[He feels bad about saying that now. He didn't mean to hurt her.] He did not take his Pokégear with him, but he does have his two ghosts. He might have meant to send one of them with a message after a few days, to make sure the rest of us would not be able to find him. But if you want, we can add that to the list of acts we will scold him about when we find him.
["Yes! ...Well, at least it's not an epidemic."]
[Action]
Mmm, I believe so too. [She looks down sadly wandering what he was dreaming about. Aerith has felt so useless ever since she saw the video of Squall. She came running from Violet just to see him.] I have a feeling he might have ran because he might have felt embarrassed about it. We all saw what happened...
[Ceceil shouldn't feel bad because it really wasn't his fault. She doesn't blame him or anything. A small smile will appear at the thought of scolding him. She nods her head softly.] Mmm, I'd like that! Thank you...ummm... [She starts to giggle.] I don't know your name.
[Extending her hand to him.] I'm Aerith from Radiant Gardens. What's your name?
[Good thing too. I was starting to worry about the humans, again. What happened last weekend was dreadful. Another human tried to kill me.]
[Action]
...By the time we reached him, the rest of us had snapped out of it. Perhaps he saw his inability to do so as a sign of weakness. Even though we couldn't have done it alone... [Had they reached him earlier, would he have stayed? Or would it have changed nothing?]
[He shakes her hand.] My name is Cecil. Cecil Harvey, from the kingdom of Baron. It is a pleasure to meet you, though the circumstances are admittedly not the best.
["Really? Things went that far? My trainer kept me in my ball the whole time, so I didn't see much of it."]
[Action]
Could be. [She's thinking about it some more.] We'll find him and I'm sure he'll tell us what is going on.
It's a pleasure to meet you too. [She'll shake her head softly.] The circumstances aren't the best, but maybe this might be the best way to meet each other. We're both searching for a common lost friend. I believe that's a good way to meet too.
[Chansey will nod her head. "It was a good thing you were safe in your ball. So many awful things happen during those few days. I almost thought the big brute was going to kill my trainer too. He was so scary!" She'll have teary eyes because just the thought terrified her to no ends.]
[Action]
To be honest, I'd rather we not have to search for him. We should scold him once he is found; he's making many people worry. [And poor Cyndaquil too.]
["Did you warn others about him? If he was strong enough to hurt you or your trainer, who knows what else he could do?" Rosie does her best to pat Chansey's shoulder reassuringly, though she can't reach nearly that high.]
[Action]
[Especially Cyndaquil.] Right! He'll be receiving the biggest scolding of his lifetime for this. [And maybe a hug in the end of it all, so he won't feel too down.]
[Chansey appreciates the gesture. "No, I couldn't tell anyone. He only lost control because of the ghost pokemon. My trainer didn't know who he was, so she didn't report him."]
[Action]
I'm certain we'll get many volunteers. We might have to draw lots. [A group hug, even.]
["We can only hope he's not like that normally. What about his own Pokémon? Were they safe?"]
[Action]
[She giggles a bit.] I hope you know how to play rock, paper, and scissors, Cecil. [A group hug sounds like a really good idea.]
[His pokemon were no where in sight. It's safe to say they were in their pokeballs except for one. A Dragonaire saved the day before my trainer and that boy got into a fist fight.]
[Action]
[He raises an eyebrow.] I'm afraid I am not familiar with this game. If it is used as a means to determine who will scold him first, I might find myself disadvantaged. [But he's smiling anyway.]
["Thank goodness. I wouldn't want to watch my trainer harm people like that."]
[Action]
[She returns the smile happily.] Do you want me to teach you how to play? It's a simple game once you know the rules.
[It's a good thing the Dragonaire felt the sameway. I was really scared over my trainer's safety. How can she fight against such a big brute?]
[Action]
["Even a stick wouldn't be enough against someone truly violent."]
[Action]
[Chansey nods her head in full agreement. "Especially against someone so tall! He was truely a giant with crazy black hair and eyes that glow!]
[Action]
["Crazy hair and glowy eyes? Humans can be scary..."]
[Action]
[Very scary. I always feel grateful knowing I was partnered with a nice trainer. You must be blessed too! Your trainer is very kind.]
[Action]
["Most of the new trainers are nice people, as far as I know. Mine even taught me how to draw some human letters."]
[Action]
[Really? Can you draw some now?]
[Action]
["Sure! It's easy." She draws a few 'o's, a 'v' and a 's'. They're all a bit wobbly, and the lines don't quite connect. "See? Now we can write like humans!"]
[Action]
[Chansey will watch the Cleffa draw on the sand, but she doesn't mind the wobbly lines. The larger pink pokemon doesn't how to draw. "Wow! That's neat! Your trainer is very kind for teaching you."]
[Action]
["He was writing in the sand, so he showed me a few letters. The waves kept erasing them, but it was fun! Wanna try?"]
[Action]
[Chansey nods her head happily. "Okay! Should I copy what you just wrote?"]
[Action]
["Try them a few times each. That way you'll get a good feel for them." She draws a few more 'v's for emphasis.]
