[Rosie looks worried, when the feed starts. She must be, if she spontaneously decided to use the Pokégear; she's not done that since the first few weeks after Cecil's arrival. Yet today she is using the Gear once more, sounding frantic as she points backwards at the bed, where a sheet-covered lump can be seen.]

Turn it off, Rosie. I've no intention to speak to people today.

[But she shakes her head and starts pointing once more, until Cecil finally crawls across his furniture to take it from her paws. He fumbles with it slightly, reaches to turn it off-]

Kain Highwind is gone.

[-with a few parting words.]

Cecil, are you in here?

[If it were anyone but Rosa, he'd keep his mouth shut and hope to be left alone. But he cannot do this to her, not when she's also lost a dear friend.]

[It's not quite as bad as the video made it seem, at least. He's curled up in bed, but he's also gently petting a lost-looking Houndoom.]

[ Because that's something else to worry about; something that will take her mind off of how upset she feels. ]

Only Minerva. I've not seen the others.

[He follows, somewhat bitterly.]

To think that I told Miss Kisa earlier today that I'd visit her, after her own losses... I'll make for poor company.

Actually, it might do the both of you some good. Sometimes it's comforting to be with someone who shares a similar loss.....it lets you know that you're not alone.

[ Which is part of why she came here, after all. ]

...She'll need that. Young girls should be smiling and laughing, not crying over lost loved ones.

[Thinking of Kisa, thinking of Rydia, thinking of everyone everywhere in Johto...]

The two of you should meet. I think you'd get along.

I'd love to meet her, sometime. She sounds like a lovely girl, and I'd like to meet someone that important to you.

[ Because she knows that he's a great judge of character; if he's close to Kisa, she must be a wonderful person. ]

But later. She'd probably rather just have someone she already knows there, when upset.

She is. She was the one to give me Flare's egg, and I had to argue for quite some time to be allowed to give her a Pokémon in return. She's quite the talented breeder, in fact. Once she feels better, the two of you could talk about that.

[Since Cecil's own breeding experiences were mostly accidental and not his favorite subject.]
