That's true. The first few days here are often the most difficult, with such limited funds and no way to buy supplies. And travelling to Kanto is always somewhat expensive.

It has quite lovely landmarks and cities. Visiting Mt. Moon at night is particularly worth the journey, especially if you reach the square during a full moon.
