Bringing back a spring snow after weeks of summer heat matches both sentences perfectly, if you ask me. Has anyone thought to look for legendary Pokémon around their garden today?

...hmmm. That had never occurred to me, though it does make some sense as a theory... for what it's worth, though, I've been observing the shrine fairly regularly for quite some time and I haven't noticed anything particularly out of the ordinary.

That shrine did nothing out of the ordinary when I saw it two and a half years ago, either. I sometimes doubt it ever will. ...But then again, if Celebi were active, you'd think this phenomenon would have it as its center.

Anyway, Celebi is a forest spirit so I thought it was part grass. Maybe I'm wrong, though. Though as a prankster myself, I can say that you have a point. Sometimes the look on someone's face is really just the most important thing and damn the penalties.

As a creature that can influence time, it might even be able to limit the effects of its powers around itself. That way it could see our reactions without even risking the penalties in the first place.

I've had no luck with it either, unfortunately. About the only thing I haven't done is try to attack it, but... that would just be disrespectful, and I have a feeling it would end poorly. Anyway, it doesn't seem like the snow where you are is any more severe than here, so unless it's specifically trying to cover its tracks...

It's not too surprising. As far as I can remember, the weather has always been the same in all parts of Johto and Kanto, even when said weather was not natural.

Haha, true enough I guess. Oh, though for the record? The growing thing isn't gradual over the course of the coma. According to a travel companion of mine, it literally just happens in one shot. [He raises his hands at his sides, palms up.] The more you know.

But maybe. I can't say I really understand all the logistics of time powers. My friends Dave and Aradia would better be able to answer that sort of thing. But I wouldn't be surprised if Celebi has its ways of being tricksy like that. Legendary and all.

I could always ask Aradia about her theories the next time I speak with her. But I suspect a Pokémon's mastery over time magic would differ from the powers any of us would know.
